Lovely Argentinian restaurant. food was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing, & waiters were attentive, but not hovering. Special French made knives were brought out for steak eaters, and the steak knives that had been put there, for show, initially were removed. The photo attached is the marking on those French knives.

I’ve been coming to Buenos Aires for 10+ years. Its skirt stake with chimichurri sauce and panna cotta (ok, and crepes with dulce de leche) is one of the best diners in town. I come back because it’s always consistent, with great quality of food and service.

I was looking forward to a steak whilst in NYC and decided to try here as my experience in Argentina is they cook great steaks. I wasn't disappointed, steak was cooked perfectly and I'm sure was more generous in weight than indicated. It's a small, busy restaurant with tables quite close together but don't let that put you off as it's definitely worth a visit.

Very friendly service, steaks were exquisite and appetizers were delicious. We highly recommend you to eat here if you’re in the East Village. It’s a little pricey but we thought the steaks were fairly priced for the quality.

This is one of the best gems in all of NYC. I loved everything we ordered from the empanada to start to the panqueue de dulce de leche for dessert... and all the steak in-between. Some of the best ribeye I've ever had in my life. Will be back every chance I get.

This is my fave Argentinian restaurant in NYC. The food is always consistent. Service is top notch especially when Patricio is there. Always goes above and beyond and remembers you and your order. I always order the skirt steak, grilled sweet bread, and rib eye. Never disappoints. In other restaurants I find sweet bread to have a greasy taste but here it’s perfectly grilled. Love the apple crepe dessert.

Probably the most consistent restaurant in NYC. I’ve lived here since 1997 (on one and off). Buenos Aires never fails to deliver.

A lovely time in Argentina ??It’s my first time at this restaurant and I had a lovely time. For the appetizer I ordered the Provoleta Argentina con Tomate fresco which was fantastic! I ate it with bread and the taste and quality of the cheese with tomatoes was spot on. The server also brought us a complimentary Italian appetizer called Burrata, which was a nice surprise. For the main course I had the Canelones Caseros de Espinaca y Ricotta which were also very delicious. And right before we left the server also surprised us with a plastic bag filled with Argentinian goods, like tea, cookies, coffee and jam! (Picture of these items included) Basically my expectations have been surpassed and I have to give a round of applause to the Buenos Aires team for the excellent service and quality of food. I will visit you again soon. Muchas gracias!

If you want to have an authentic Argentinian experience, look no further than Buenos Aires. The restaurant is filled with Argentinian memorabilia, the crew is warm and friendly, and the food is what you'd expect to eat in Argentina.A must if you are feeling home sick, or if you want to experience a real Argentinian grill (don't skip the chinchulines or the mollejas)

Happy

Food never disappoints. Excellent steak. For the first time ever we were disappointed with the service. Head waiter didn't listen to our order and either was rushed or just busy. But we were able to corrected it. Atmosphere is very lively and a little noisy. Still love the bartender Mariachi .

Very cozy and tight. Everything ala carte and it's very pricey... Both worth of what you get disappointed
