We came from Scotland for a trip of a lifetime to NY. The Exclelsior didn’t disappoint. We even lost our boarding passes and the receptionist was able to call the airline and print us a new one. 10/10
A very spacious and comfortable hotel only about 500m from the Natural History Museum, Central Park and the B & C line metro stations. The Excelsior is modern with good wi-fi and very comfortable beds.There's a restaurant as well and there's a supermarket about 800m away.There's no tea or coffee facilities in the room but they do have the world's slowest and least functional coffee machine downstairs (morning only). Staying on the Upper West Side is such a great experience. Stayed her for about a week. Took a nice walk to the park every morning, close to everything. Lots of great restaurants near by and the Subway station is on the same block. This is a great place to stay if you a familiar with the city and you are looking for a nice quiet place to relax.
