Upon arriving with a reservation at the specified time, we encountered a front desk attendant with a discourteous attitude. Despite our prompt arrival, we were made to wait for 20 minutes without being seated. Upon inquiring with the hostess, we discovered that no notification had been sent to us, contrary to what was claimed. Our subsequent complaint to the manager was met with rudeness and dismissiveness. Even after finally being seated, 25 minutes passed without any water being served, a situation shared by neighboring patrons. Given that it was my best friend's birthday, the experience was especially disheartening, worsened by being assigned a less-than-desirable corner table. Eventually, we decided to leave without receiving water, opting to dine elsewhere, thankfully securing a reservation elsewhere to appease our hunger. Although my friends warned me this place has horrible service I still wanted to give it a try! Do not go there!!!! You won’t get service unless your someome famous horrible experience!!!!!!

There was one nice employee in this whole establishment who seated us after an hour of my party of two waiting past our reservation time. Staff was super rude and dismissive. Let it also be noted you’re not allowed to take photos here. Want to come with a group for your birthday and take photos on the way out!? Not allowed, you’ll be yelled at by a cranky doorman.

I've never felt so bad as in this restaurant, terrible experience, I'm writing this message crying with a feeling as if I were garbage, first the girls at the reception treat you well and welcome you to the bar after an hour and a half they say that the table is not ready even after the manager says that things are taking a long time because the house is full, my God, I'll never come back

I love catch, I have great memories there and the food is always amazing. This time around it was just extremely loud and hard to hear my partner from right in front of me. Besides that I had the best experience food and service wise!

Finally was able to experience Catch Steak and I was very pleased with the quality of the food, maybe not so much the quanitity but some items we ordered were not worth the price, but it was our 1st time. Over All, I could have made my comments much better if only our server was just more competent or even aware of their table(s) (us being) but we understood the server must have had many tables to wait on (which they did not) maybe it was their 1st day, week, etc.. I don't know, but that alone I wouldn't go back so soon, I'm sure I'll give it another go just not for a very long time. Nothing to brag about or worth tagging for. Staff overall was awesome, just not our server. And we all know it starts with your servers intro to your experience. They were also aware of my wife's birthday, but I found odd it wasn't acknowledged so we just didn't even order entrees, asked for the check and still left more than a 25% tip because we felt bad for the server (but what about us right)..

It looked the part. Smelled the part. Unfortunately I’ll never know for sure. My friends and I sat down and were ignored for nearly 30 minutes. Luckily, Old Homestead is just down the street and was able to accommodate us. Left without ever even being offered water. Top notch operation.

Very bad service. Wait time was fine and on schedule when we were walked to our table we noticed that 3 seats of the of 7 were tucked in so closely to the other table that they wouldn’t have been useable. Given 4 out of our party are rather large we asked if they had a different arrangement for us. Eventually we were told that’s it they had other reservations. So, no problem we pulled the table out so we could actually sit. We were given menus and that was the last we heard from staff for 30 minutes. The wait staff complained to the manager that we had to move the table so they actually sat there for 5 minutes and discussed it, seeing that no server had yet to even been at our table yet. No water, no drinks, not even a hello I’m your server … for nearly 30 minutes. We called Old Homestead, which is a block away and were able to get a table so that salvaged the night. The manager did follow us out and ask what was wrong we eventually got an I’m sorry, but no please let me make it right or anything. So that was that. Seeing the other reviews here I see service is a larger problem.

Food was outstanding! Was a little confused but so happy I gave it a try… everything was good. We had the Wagyu Carpaccio, phenomenal. We had the pretzel with Mustard butter and let me tell you, this was amazing! Porterhouse was cooked Medium to perfection, asparagus and waffle fries perfect compliment. The banana foster dessert was the cherry on top!

I made a reservation for seven on a Saturday night. As we walked in I understood what kind of place this was, this had the set up of a diner more so than a steakhouse with a 2 sq ft radius per table. It is clear here that the manager is looking to squeeze space and flip tables rather than offer a comfortable dining experience. After we were seated in the middle of the dining area, it was evident that the mere existence of the table as a serving area was an inconvenience to the servers when after sitting for 30 minutes the staff avoided the area for even water. We walked out 30 minutes after being seated and unattended.

The space is beautiful and the service was good but the food was inconsistent. My wife had the Branzino which was great. However, the spinach was too salty and should have been returned. I had a steak and had cream spinach as my side. The spinach dish was totally overwhelmed by the taste of cheese. This dish diverges from the typical cream spinach dish and not in a good way. Even the Catch Roll didn't taste as well as it does at Catch's flagship location, where I find the food is far superior to Catch Steak. The cocktails were also subpar. The negroni was poor and the classic martini was mediocre. All in all, a disappointing experience.

The food & service was exceptional, we went there to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday and from the moment we stepped into the restaurant we were well looked after and the food was amazing.

Everything was great until my steak came out. The apps we had were awesome, sommelier and waitress was great. I was disappointed with the main course. I ordered a 12oz dry aged cowgirl steak and when it came out, it was so small it looked like a baby bird. I actually thought I was given the wrong dish thats how small it was. I understand when you dry age a steak, it will shrink naturally about 30% (give and take) but than they should make up for the shrinkage so that when you sell the cut, you dont put 5 ounces on the plate for the customer. I give it 3 stars because the reason why you go to a steak house is due to the steak and I was just completely underwhelmed.
