I have some very good friends that kept telling me about some food truck selling lobster rolls near Monmouth Park NJ. Well one day i decided to go check it out, and let me tell you that i was very delighted to say the least. I ordered the Maine lobster roll and it is quite possibly the most delicious thing i have ever eaten. Going back tomorrow with my wife.

If you haven’t eaten here yet, and you like lobster, you need to go RIGHT now. The Boston food truck came to my town today and I tried the lobster quesadilla and the lobster tacos. Squeeze the lime the provide on top, take a bite, and you will be instantly transported to the tropical paradise of your dreams. Each bite was fresh, delicious, and cooked to perfection. If you download the app and sign up, you can receive free tater tots or a free whoop or pie with your first purchase, and can earn points you can use to later get free food.I don’t leave reviews often, but this is a meal I will never forget about and I needed to tell everyone that this was the greatest lobster I have ever had. Personally, I think it’s better than legal sea food.

I stumbled upon the Cousins Maine Lobster Truck while it was parked in front of a Dunkin Donuts in Long Island NY. The building line of loyal customers, and the excitement of the crowd caught my attention, so I got in line too! I tried the warmed Connecticut lobster roll ( Delicious!!) and their New England clam chowder ( I've had better. ) Note- Not cheap eats. I signed up for their news mailer, and if I'm ever around a Cousins Maine Lobster mobile truck again, I'm buying something. Yummy!

Meh, not terrible. Lacks a commitment to flavor, paprika, smoked paprika, smoked salt, black pepper, cayenne, garlic powder, something else that you can't quite put your finger on but memorable. Not necessarily heat but demanding of a bit of daring from the customer. This instead is the Delaware of flavor. It's nice but dialed in to be super inoffensive, not a suck the marrow from the bone experience. It's decent enough middle of the road fare that's missing an ethnic flavor identity so doubles down on the absence. It's what whole foods would build if it built a restaurant. Edit: I don't want to suggest I didn't like the food. If I had an office full of people I would definitely take them here as most people would like it and few would find anything objectionable. But, here's the thing, mayonnaise is not a spice.

We had food from the truck, don't know where to review so leaving one here. We had CT lobster rolls (warmed w/butter) with extra lobster, S23.50/each. The good was the lobster, perfectly cooked, silky and soft, big chunks, not chewy. The rest, meh. The quantity of lobster, even with the "extra" not really much at all. Four bites total, maybe five. The roll was garbage, the sort you might get at BJs wholesale. It got immediately soggy, fell apart, turned to mush, frankly disgusting. My wife would not eat hers, just ate the lobster. They can do better for the amount they charge. When dining out, the value of the food should be equal to or better than the price. Such was not the case, good but insufficient lobster, that's it. I am not new to lobster rolls, have had some good ones (in Maine too!), this is nowhere near the best. Not value for value, I congratulate them on their success but we will not be their customer going forward.

Wonderful!!!!! deserves 10 stars!!! I live in NJ (got my food from the food truck at Black River Roasters) but I am from New England. It is so great to have a lobster roll made the correct way on the correct roll. The New England Clam chowder is perfect...not to thick, and not too thin. The food is served exactly the way it should be, (anyone not for New England will truly appreciate and enjoy this food/food truck). thank you

I've seen the trucks all over and didn't know they got their start on Shark Tank honestly. I really enjoyed my time at their restaurant and also didn't know they had a location in the Upper West Side. I just stumbled upon it and couldn't say no. I ordered a Maine Lobster Roll, I think I prefer Maine over Connecticut in general but I'll definitely need to compare both. The lobster chunks were delicious, although I would have preferred it to be a little bigger considering the price. The roll was nice and buttery too, but also small. As for the Lobster BLT, I would DEFINITELY get that again. Everything went together nicely and they weren't cheap on the lobster. My mouth is watering thinking about it. Despite the critiques on the lobster roll size, 5 stars because I'd still go back!!! The lobster BLT saved the review

I live in NJ and I saw the mobile truck and pull over to get some of their food. I was very disappointed in the portion amount for the price charged. I am a seafood lover and there was no seasoning or anything special with the lobster meat besides meat in between some toast bread. Maybe there restaurant food is better. Over all I will give the mobile truck a rating of a 2. I spent $46.81 for 2 Connecticut Lobster Rolls and a Lobster Bisque Bowl.

Long anticipated finally caught the truck in Jackson, NJ. Holding out for the opportunity to share with my significant other. Def quality of the lobster was all there. Maybe my food truck expectations are high being a grease truck native. The bisque was eh and portions a bit small. Just glad it’s out of our system now.

Cousins Maine Lobster Truck always shows up to 15 Bank Street Apartments on their schedule! Excellent service and uses safe protocols during Covid. Excellent food with so much flavor.

Amazing lobster rolls, the kit is a great value! Try their whoopee pies. The tater tots are also very fresh, not oversalted or oily. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

It was the absolute worst. Don't mind the line wait, it was the lack of communication, unprepared procedures, and rather flippant attitude of the truck server. I had heard so much about them, internet buzz, etc. Disappointing result. They ran out of lobster, and didn't bother to tell anyone. They dint cutting off the line versus their supply. Got the bisque, which milky and chalky and the shrimp tacos had no taste. No seasoning, no flavor. People will go because of the buzz but, I won't do that again.
