Staff is super polite and nice, seating is comfortable, prices maybe a bit high but probably normal for the area. I got food to go last night but haven’t tried it yet so will need to update the review after that. I personally didn’t love the mango margarita, it was too sweet and didn’t seem very strong.
This restaurant was phenomenal!! All the food was spiced very well and super flavorful and our server even offered to makemy dish more spicy after I requested it to be hot! The servers were very attentive and friendly. And the dessert was amazing! All around great experience ?

Darbar is an absolute gem. Food is fantastic & incredibly authentic (not to mention the best prices for indian food in NYC!) Do yourself a favor and get the Chicken 65 — be warned, it is a (spicy) explosion of flavor on your tastebuds. The classics like vindaloo & tikka go hardddd and “lesser known” dishes (ie by the white americans ;) ) like balchao, chana saag, etc. are wondrous. Service is kind, attentive, and very helpful.
