I came on Friday night for some drinks with a girlfriend. It was easy to get a reservation through the webpage earlier the same day. The music was great throughout the evening. Drinks are pricey but they have cool cocktails to try. Food was ok (we tried the chicken kabobs and flatbread).In general a nice experience and would come back

My friend and I went on a Wednesday night for our biweekly cocktail's after work. Elsie's was such a great place for us! A fun vibe, great food (highly recommend the sliders) and fantastic bartender! Will be going again soon.

First date. Parking isn't suitable but we managed. We were greeted with smiles. Seating is lovely for slow days. Open spaced area. The ambience looked really nice. It was a rainy day and the window panel rooftop made it look wonderful as the rain drops hit it, with the wall plant decor and decorative plant pots departing the seated areas and soft warm lighting. The music was modernized and good. We got serviced for bottomless the first 15 minutes. Drinks were good but not worth $50 for the bottomless price. Keep in mind the metered parking for 2 hours was $14.50. Staff had a call out and we weren't serviced for food for another 35 minutes. 15 minutes later the food arrived. It was delicious. Unfortunately the time spent there was short. We thought 2 hours in the parking meter was suffice but we couldn't stay for another 10 minutes to digest our food , let alone try a dessert, since the initial order-taking didn't start. So to finally eat 65 mins later... well, I'll leave it there. If staff had it worse I get it. These food services should start on more complimentary gestures when unforeseen circumstances cause uncomfortable situations that can often be redeemable with something to make up for the shortcomings of the establishment. I'd want to come back but ...how?

The food for brunch was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for our engagement day brunch. Service was a little haphazard. Sometimes they were attentive and sometimes they weren't. Multiple guests around us including us had to ask a few times for a check. That said, the food was wonderful and the rooftop space really was cool. We would definitely go back and budget more time to be there next time around knowing they're a little short staffed on Sundays.

Great food. Service was good but I did not understand why they took my credit card and kept till I paid. I actually paid and left the card. I called and they had it. Otherwise bartender and chef were 5 stars.

With the exception of the bartender (Sarah), who was sooo nice and amazing, the rest of them were very rude.. They asked us (party of four) to leave a table in the “lounge area” saying it was reserved. Really? We were ordering a lot of stuff so it wasn’t like we were taking up space and not spending $$…. I wouldn’t go back there!

Waited close to 40 mins for a check and was charged over 100$ extra after pre-paying through Pulsd. Several other people had been there for close to 3 hours with the same problems. Food was ok, very hit or miss. Steak was good, ravioli tasted frozen and bad. Service was friendly but slow and overall just not very good. The view was ok but there are better places with better food for the same price. Wouldn’t recommend.

The food was great, but service very lacking. We waited 40 minutes in between dinner & desert. They placed a wine cooler on our table which was almost 1/2 the size of the table. Never came to fill up our water we poured our own wine after the first glass. It's a good spot for a group in the lounge, but for dinner they need to step it up considering the cost.

Had a delightful brunch at Elsie Rooftop this Saturday! Jeanny, the manager, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the Smoked Old Fashioned and the Be Mine (Valentine's Day Special) cocktails, both unique and flavorful. The Shashuka and Smoked Salmon Board were delicious, accompanied by a refreshing Elsie De Wolfe. A perfect blend of atmosphere, service, and delectable dishes. Highly recommend!

Horrible experience. I came here last night after my birthday celebration at Refinery Rooftop (go here, it’s so much better).It was nearly empty on a Saturday night. That should tell you something. Because of this they decided that they were going to close around 1:30am even though they were supposed to be open until 4am. A manager came over and told us we had 5 more minutes so I was getting in some last minute pictures, which apparently he didn’t like. Not even 2 minutes later he was telling us we had to leave right then. He was very rude about it. We spoke up and they tried turning it around on us saying we were late for our reservation. One of my friends got there within 15 minutes of the reservation time. I don’t get how that can be a solid argument though when the place was empty. I was with people who work in the service industry and they were trying to talk with management about this treatment but continued to get the same rude attitude, as they were forcing us out saying that they can close whenever they want to. If that’s the case, don’t list your hours on google. I understand closing a little earlier when things are closed, but closing 2.5 hours early and being that rude about it is really not acceptable. They need better management who actually know how to communicate properly with customers. Don’t come here, not worth it. Listen to all the reviews talking about the bad service. I regret evening having spent a penny at this place. Don’t waste your money.The only pros I can give are that it is a pretty space and our bartender was a sweetheart.
