Horrible, they now only cater favorably to the tourists and not the ppl from the community who’ve been supporting them for years…..

I’m from Baltimore City, I was staying in Queens. I came to Harlem with my sons to get breakfast. The guy at the register who was running things was very cool, joking with my sons. It was a very family friendly environment and the food was ????.

The chopped cheese. It’s not a sandwich—it’s an argument wrapped in a roll. Everyone’s got an opinion on where it came from, but who really cares? Walk into Hajji’s, or whatever they’re calling it now, and they’ll slap together something that speaks for itself. Ground beef sizzling with onions, cheese melting into every crevice, lettuce and tomato tossed in like an afterthought. The whole mess gets piled into a roll that barely holds it together. It’s not fancy. It’s not clean. But you bite into it, and suddenly the debate doesn’t matter.

I’ve had a bunch of chop cheeses from different bodegas on various visits to the city, this one is the first one I ever had and by far the best without a doubt! I take mine with onions, lite ketchup and mayo on a hero perfectly melted perfectly toasted. Quick in and out and only $8.00! Stick with the original and you can’t go wrong, thanks Hajji!

Had chopped cheese hero for $8. Bit salty to my taste but I think most people like it that way. Thought balance of ingredients and toasted bun good. Good service. For price and quality, one of the better deals in

Never a disappointment always delicious! Friendly atmosphere and fair prices. Sometimes there is a wait so consider calling in. Frankie is a master at sandwiches, and won’t feed you what he wouldn’t feed family.

Pretty disappointed in my chopp cheese sandwich. I think I might have been expecting too much? It just lacked flavor it was under seasoned. It honestly tasted like a whopper from burger King on a hogie roll pressed. It wouldn't have been way better if it was seasoned properly. I didn't see the hype in that particular location. I could cook a way better chop cheese and that's why I'm so disappointed I was expecting it to be as good as i could make it al the very least.
