Ordered delivery. They literally stuffed the toro roll with all toro. Can’t get this at another place! They even have salmon sashimi as aps.

Really wanted to try, but to wait 30 mins for a take out stall in a bustling train station is just bad logistics.

Incredible first visit to Joji Box; 5 stars all the way! The sushi is fresh, delicious, and the presentation in the box is first class. Shout out to Raymond who helped ensure I selected the best combination of sushi and chatted with me while I ate (there are 2 stools at the counter). Would highly recommend Joji Box when you are looking for a fast option to get delicious, high-quality sushi to go!

It's not easy to eat delicious sushi in rural Georgia, so I was determined to eat delicious sushi on this trip, but it wasn't easy to bring children to a suitable sushi restaurant. After seeing a recommendation on Instagram, I stopped by on my way to Grand Central Station and was able to experience some very neatly prepared lunch box sushi. When I was thinking about going and eating, I thought it was great value for money and I really liked the ingredients, so I got about 10 pieces of sushi and 8 pieces of rolls for the omakase, and I had a clean meal. I definitely intend to visit again.

For grab and go sushi the quality was extremely good, but also very overpriced. The local is literally a little room where you order your sushi and they hand you a premade box. I didn't love that I couldn't see the person making the sushi and that aspect turned me off. Also the box smelled a lot like fish which was not ideal for a work lunch. Another aspect which I didn't love was that one of the boxes we ordered was out of stock and we were left to wait in the room for 15 min. Overall it was yum, but not something to do everyday.

First time tried this joji box...order thru online and pick up in the store, really convenient...the maki flight and salmon ikura chirashi were really good..will buy again..

Doordashed this sushi restaurant. Beautiful presentation in really nicely packed boxed and even comes either cute little sou sauce bottles. (Not sure how eco friendly they are)Sushi was fresh and the rice had good flavor and texture.

What a treat, some of the best sushi I’ve had in NYC or elsewhere! Easy pickup at One Vanderbilt, beautiful presentation, incredible flavors at an amazing value for the price. We got two Joji boxes and two chirashi boxes which was more than enough food for lunch for four people. Best office lunch this year, can’t wait to order again!

The rice was cold and was flavorless. The fish was fishy, and I got worried I may get sick. Never ordering again.

Love this sushi box concept as it's been all the rave lately! It's convenient, beautiful, and efficient for on the go New Yorkers. A friend and I stopped by and had to try a box. We loved the variety of fish and of nigiri/sushi you get. The kind cashier even treated us to an extra mini box so 10/10 for service! The packaging for both boxes was stunning and comes with utensils and soy sauce inside. Definitely a treat and was delicious, but not gonna be the best quality of sushi ever. Still so yummy and glad we tried!

The presentation and freshness is 5/5 for sure. The box it comes in is clearly custom to Joji, and it's so sturdy I always feel bad for throwing it away. The quality of the ginger and fish is superb, and the little soy sauce bottle is too addorable. During lunch, they have boxes ready to go, so it's a very quick grab and go lunch. If you'd like a substitution, they make it fresh so it could take 15-20 minutes, perhaps call and order ahead.I only took a star off because there's nothing specifically special about Joji. It's high quality sushi, but I've had better sushi for not that much more expensive. With that sad, will I be back? 110%. Also FYI there is no seating at the restaurant, but the food is perfect for taking back into the office or to Bryant Park!
