I've been coming to this place for years and I am just in love w their beef stew soup! Not only is the food incredible but the staff is really kind and they remember their frequent clients :) I agree that things can get hectic during lunch time, but let's not forget its right in midtown around plenty of offices and the most afford spot in the area. I highly recommend this place! I am sure to be back over and over again

Good Old School Chinese food reminiscent of China Town in the heart of midtown and reflecting midtown prices so keep that in mind. Generally I stop here on my way home for takeout but call in my order prior to, service isn't terribly speedy could be dependent on what you order who knows. The place is always packed with dining in customers and takeout customers alike and with that noted I highly recommended calling in your order ahead of time to cut down on the wait time. I have ordered the roast duck, Chinese Broccoli with garlic, house special fried rice less the shrimp for me and spicy string beans with beef. All of it very good, travels well with large portions for leftovers the next day if eating for one. Haven't taken much pictures since it is take out and with hardly any standing room to do so, you will have to take my word that the food is delicious and satisfying. I like that make their own in-house Hot mustard which is the best beats the package condiments any day. Good Chinese food...

Attached picture shows what I found in my noodles. Overall it wasn't too bad, but I wish they'd put more beef and less noodles.

Okay. Packed. Crazy at lunch. Slightly rude staff. But it was lunchtime. Split the lunch specials of chicken with hot pepper sauce and peanuts plus an order of chicken livers mein. Both were good but neither was spicy. Had to use the chili sauce on table and asked for some Chinese vinegar for noodles. Having lived in China for 6 years you get spoiled for good Chinese food. This might be better than most. But not the best. That's still my favorite place in Boston. Medford actually.

Well service is good bbq pork wonton was a 6 out 10 stars but we ordered beef with black mushrooms and bamboo and when it came it had 4 cut mushrooms in it which got me upset. Looked nothing like its picture but thankfully she replaced it

I liked the hot and sour soup. The beef with mixed vegetables was also good. However the water glass seemed very unclean.

In my opinion terrible. 1 1/2 hours to deliver my order. Stupid me accepts. Cold. No taste. Directly into the garbage.

I've been coming here with my mother for years. Whenever we're in Herald Square, we know we can count on this spot for a delicious meal. It's always full of people but never feels crowded. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. The portion size of the meals for dinner is massive! You could easily share an appetizer and one dish between 2 people. I love their fried tofu, whether it's with broccoli or general tso's - it's the perfect combination of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It's by no means a fancy place, but if you're looking for a great deal and some delicious Chinese food, this is your place!

Certainly nothing to write home about though it's still a dependable, decent tasting Chinese eatery in the heart of New York. They have just a few vegetarian options but I did order the general tso's crispy tofu dish complemented with watercrest. Despite the lack of creative vegetarian dishes, the menu remains pretty large so you'll surely find what you're looking for. Prices are fair and the service is fast. I came here late on a Thursday night (9pm) and there were few patrons in the restaurant. No frills place. Quantity sizes are precent decent and it's hard to leave this place feeling hungry. The ambience is basic and modifications are difficult to make, but if you like noodles - their bowl is solid! Apparently the lunch specials are an amazing deal so if I were to come back - I would make it for lunch.

Classic quick Chinese food. They offer seating, but it seems like most people prefer to take out or get delivery. They offer several lunch specials during the week, but the restaurant is very busy during this time with business people from the area. My coworker and I took out food during our lunch break from work. I got a vegetable fried rice lunch special with egg drop soup and a vegetable roll to start. Portions were very large, and the food was pretty good as well.

Speedy delivery if you are nearby for dinner. Less than 20 minutes. However, their he fun noodles are sub par and my noodle dish was bland and flavorless. I wouldn't reccomend this restaurant for their noodles at least.

I have been here several times with good results, on my last visit for lunch the waiter brings me room temperature wonton soup with all the wontons broken and open. The waiter then brought out the shrimp mai fun and that was warm as well. Chinese food usually stays piping hot for five minutes where one has to blow on the food to cool it off. Both dishes were about as warm as ones last sip of coffee. Decided to leave because they were not busy and there was no reason for the food to be served luke warm. Making matters worse, they pretended to convince me the food was hot and then ask me to at least pay for the soup and to tip the waiter. No respect, no apologize, no offer to reheat, (would not have accepted if they did) and then to try and touch the plate with his hand pretending it was hot was the final straw. I wil never go back again

This place is definitely cheaper than other restaurants in the area, and for Midtown especially. It's cheap food, quick service, pretty authentic homey Chinese food - I think the two of us with tax and tip came out to $19?? Unheard of in the area. We both got noodle soups, him the beef noodle soup and me the marinated cabbage and ground pork noodle soup. Both weren't out of this world, but it was still good and reminded me of home for sure. Would recommend for cheap eats or Chinese food in the Times Square, Bryant Park area!

Warm, comforting, and greasy Americanized Chinese food. Don't get persnickety about authenticity, or you'll miss the entire point. This is a whole other cuisine at this point, one that I relish at times. The lunch specials are an amazing deal. Tons for food (I always have leftovers) for roughly $10. Plus tea, a side of soup, and the customary fortune cookie. I usually dine in, but just as many people order to-go.

Very good taste of the place, give 4 because I felt of being rushed by them to finish my dinner with friends.
