Le Sia is my favorite restaurant, possibly in the world. I have eaten at the East Village Le Sia easily 15 times, not including takeout - the period this winter when they were closed was a very hard time for me. I live for their crawfish combos. Sometimes I will go there with my friends after work and then go again with my husband 2 days later.

The shrimp & blu crab combo for $33 that comes w corn and potatoes inside the pan swimming is medium spicy hot sauce is preeeeeetty good. When you walk in, there is a scent you want to bathe in and eat it now. That shrimp blue crab combo sounded like the things I smelled....and it was quiiiite tasty. The blue crab is little and tough to get all the little bits but its swimming in that delicious spicy sauce, so it's good to suck just like the shrimp heads. The shrimps are Big! And cooked perfectly.i asked for a spoon only to drink the sauce because I am loco. And then I got a little choke-y because it was so spicy and my esophagus couldn't handle it and yet I kept diving in because it was really tasty and my short term memory brain kept saying...spoon and feed! Mmmm. I had fun. Skewers are also very very tasty. Lamb and beef skewers are petite but sooo tasty and cumin-y. The pork belly was my jamb. Looove how the fatty bits are charred. Everything I ate was Very tasty.

Seated quickly. Nice atmosphere. Limited beer selection. Awesome seafood with a variety of flavors. 1 combo served 4 people. Kobe skewers were delightful. Great service. Food came quickly. The cheesecake was decent as well as the mochis for dessert. I will be back!

This place is ridiculous - attention to decor, music, and the FOOD, pricing - everything! If you don’t like spicy this place might not be for you, but if you do, the combination of flavor and robust spicy fireness is so worth it. HIGHLY recommend the wagyu skewers and the pork belly too.

Love the skewers here! The skewers really hit the spot and brings me back to the streets in China. The crab boils were okay. I like that they use Chinese seasoning instead of just traditional Cajun spices. The portions are big but the shrimp felt a bit too soft and overcooked for my liking. Overall, it is a cool hangout spot. Will definitely come back to try the other items on the menu.

I came here for a good seafood boil and I was not disappointed. There is something for everyone on the menu not just seafood. I ordered fried rice , shrimp skewers and snow crab legs(spicy). Everything was delicious.

I've heard about Le Sia for a long time so I was glad to have finally checked it out recently. They're known for their seafood boils and skewers, and both did not disappoint. You choose a type of seafood boil (essentially some combination of shrimp, crawfish, and crab) and an accompanying sauce. I ended up getting the combo shrimp and crawfish boil in the hot & spicy sauce. The seafood was really fresh and the sauce wasn't too spicy at all, although I have quite a high spice tolerance. Next time, I may try the numbing spicy sauce to see how spicy it really is. I also tried a variety of skewers including the pork belly, lamb, and wagyu. The lamb was probably the best, but all were tasty and well cooked. The seafood boils are definitely messy but the apron and gloves help. The restaurant is always packed so expect a wait and crowded seating. However, they recently opened a new location in Midtown which might help, as well as the option to join the waitlist on Yelp.

Walked 1.5 miles in the cold. Doors locked at 430. At 530 a man was seated inside and would not address us. Huge disappointment
Try not to get stuck in the middle seats of the shared table... incredibly tight and way too close to your neighbors, even by New York standards

Favorite restaurant in New York. Snow crab with spicy garlic sauce. Meat skewers. Peach jelly cocktails. Beijing bistro vibe.

My Fa vorite place for late night skewers. I really like their chicken gizzards, beef eniko, man tou skewers. I really like the seasoning they use for the man tou. The seafood boil comes in a plate, their mild is still spicy. I love adding the you tiao to the dish.

I came as part of a language learning group and really enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious and the staff were all friendly. The chef came out to tell us more about the origins of the dishes we tried.
