AMAZING BARTENDERS!!! The drinks are always on point, the music is good and it's always a vibe when I go. I always go there intending to stay for a couple of hours but, I always end staying til close. Local 138 is a whole vibe even on a MONDAY!!!

Service was good! 2 tall boy cans were 16 each (18 after tax, not happy hour), so I wouldn’t call it a dive bar despite the divey aesthetic. Used to come here at the old location on Ludlow when it was cheaper, so expectations were off.

This is nice dive bar on the lower east side if you don't want to go somewhere loud and can speak to people. I will say, the drinks were pretty expensive for a dive bar but I guess with inflation prices are going up. That being said we didn't go during happy hour as well but overall chill atmosphere. The music was totally on point and you have to check out the bathroom - total dive bar vibes!

Worst bar I’ve ever been to. Bouncer was extremely rude and harassed me and my friends until we ordered something. He would literally come to our table every minute and told us to get out and the bar was not a “hangout spot” Also this place charges gratuity automatically.

Not a cheap bar, I paid $18 plus tip for two Miller High Life !! So I don’t know why and how it shows up as an economy bar.Very nice staff at local 138, from smiling bouncer to bartender were professional and courteous. But not much of entertainment or anything to look at.

Security is a toilet bowl if you catch my drift I recently got a new ID I’m in town visiting with friends I’m 35 and he tells me my ID is fake I informed him it’s new he argues me I took my money across the street. Hire someone who knows how to check an ID without a piece of equipment.

Visited again despite my last review rude staff feel like I was overcharged as if they make up prices along the way she seems to have problems with speaking to people I’ll take my money elsewhere sad because I actually like the area and was thinking of bringing my brothers with me next week
