Believe me when I say Makana will do you right every. Single. Time. The food from this spot can always turn my day around. My go to is the spicy salmon bowl, which never disappoints. Anything with the garlic rice may change your life. The musubi is also an absolute treat!
I got a salmon poke bowl on greens (kale) with a side of spicy mayo. It was very tasty with lots of soybeans and a generous serving of crab salad and seaweed salad. The fish was impeccably fresh and delicious. I would have liked a little bit more marinade sauce, but the freshness of the fish and my side of spicy mayo was perfect. I got to taste the yellow tail and tuna and both of them were fresh and delicious also! My mom got an order of iced tea with pineapple that she enjoyed....read full review

This place is at least temporarily closed. If it opens again, I will update this review. The review saying that is permanently closed with a new business is wrong, there is no new business in this location. The Spa is next door, and this business was located between the Spa and the grocery store.When it was open, this was a great place for Sushi and Hawaiian food!
