I love, love, love K. Minamoto products! Everything is prepared exceptionally well. My favorites are the grape mochi, all chestnut products and especially the fresh mochi of all kinds!

The family run shops on the side streets of Kyoto will make you yearn for their confections long after you've left Japan. I was excited to find this place online and to visit while we were in NY. The service is great and I appreciate their willingness to let me practice my Japanese. They have a nice selection of different Japanese classics. I'm a bit disappointed that the daifuku I got has dairy. Make sure to read your labels before you purchase as that was a surprise.

This store is my go-to for unique gifts for family and friends. The packaging for the snacks is gorgeous.
Most importantly, they have the best mochi! Peach is my personal favorite.
The staff here are pleasant and professional.

My sister and I have been to this place last month and that food at this place was wonderful that the both of us bought mochi and mochi balls for dessert. The service was wonderful, helpful, and friendly. The atmosphere was many people were there shopping.

Plenty of cute and authentic Japanese confections. They were mildly sweet and delicious. They had gift packs and also sold them individually. Worth a visit!

I’ve been visiting since before they opened on 5th Avenue. I usually shop for the Sakura Mochi or the Kingyo. At their Madison Avenue location, I’ve been interviewed by Japanese News Media about my experiences and in-store, ordering the Kingyo in late August, I encountered the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, wearing a Black Burberry Hat with white “TB” Monogram; white t-shirt; Navy Pin Stripe Suit Trousers and white on-running sneakers. At their 5th Avenue location, I’ve been invited to Japanese Tea Ceremonies where the Japanese women wear Kimonos and teach how to behave in Japanese Tea Ceremonies and why some behaviors taught are appropriate
