Love this place. I keep going back to it since they give you large portions and you can get full for $10. I've ordered the bbq chicken everyday for a week on my visit to NYC, and I'll come back next time.

they will give you the pricey tourist menu. Grab a paper takeout menu to see the less expensive plates that come with rice. They are meant to feed one and at half the price.

I wanted to try something that's not pho or bun thit nuong so I got a banh xeo. It was mostly bean sprouts and mung beans and not much pork and shrimp. It wasn't very crispy either. I liked that they gave a big plate of lettuce and basil. I don't think it was worth $18 (after tip and tax.) The food is 3 stars and the friendly service is an extra star.

One of the most authentic Vietnamese restaurants in NYC. They have a HUGE selection of dishes to pick from. I've been here many times, but it just occurred to me that I have never given them a review. If you're a fan of Vietnamese food, this place is a must try. The service was great and the food was fresh and delicious. The portion big and satisfying. This place use to be packed PACKED Pre pandemic, but with the lessen foot traffic, it's less of a crowd, which is great for those who have never been. This is the perfect time to try this great place. I'll definitely stop by more often and post some more pictures. But everything is good from summer rolls, pho to banh xeo. Try them ALL!!

The beef stew has a special taste in it but can be a bit heavy in flavor. The bun bo hue is also good.

Tasted pretty good. They have a good selection of pho, rice dishes and vermicelli dishes. Adequate seating and food came out in a timely manner. Soup was a little oily but not sure if that was just my bowl because my friend's bowl didn't seem as oily as mine. Otherwise, the taste was fine.

I’ve heard good things about their food but business wise I’m a bit turned off. Says they’re open till 8 even if you ask them but I’ve gone at 7:30 twice and it’s been closed. When I called to have an order delivered from a block and a half away it was denied even though they deliver ? Idk I think I will never try again just out of principle.

This place does not look like much from the outside. But you walk in to a wonderful vibrant atmosphere with smiling people to greet you. Service was very fast, and in fact we were surprised to get our food within twenty minutes. The food itself is fantastic, flavorful, fresh, and light so you don't feel like you're walking out like a lead balloon. All in all. I give it a 4, there's always room for improvement, it was a little confusing walking in and not getting our order taken until we asked but it was also rather plesant. You'll love it if you give it a chance!

Best pho in town. Deep rich broth, consistent every time. Highly recommend Tu Do. They also do a healthy take out.

Today was a perfect day for pho, and with a plan to go for a good long walk exploring, I struck out at the first two places I looked at as they were closed - which turned out great as I decided to just wander up the Bowery. Tu Do looked like a perfect spot to consider, and the house special pho was absolutely everything I wanted it to be. Service was pretty friendly and quick, and the pho was perfect - no shortage of meat, and a great broth. In the brief time I was there they did brisk pickup and delivery business, so I figured I had to have made the right choice.

Amazing food, portions and prices! I was walking through Chinatown and wasn't sure what I wanted so I stopped in and looked at their menu. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and given a cup of hot tea. I don't normally eat Vietnamese food so I asked the server his thoughts and whatever he ordered for me was fantastic! Very filling and very warm to help combat the cold weather. Highly recommend going here while you're in NY!

Came on a cold day and was waiting for a friend who had never tried pho/ banh mi. Friend was late due to transportation but the lovely auntie helped me get seated, offered warm tea, and told me to look at the pictures on the menu to pick out what to order. Amazing customer service and both my friend and I loved the food!

No frills place with an extensive menu. The pho was just okay - the broth was not too sweet which I like, but I wish it had more depth.
