I went there today about 12:00 noon and a sign taped to the door said "Due To Financial Circumstances Your Light at the End of Tunnel is Extinguished for Now" Hopefully it's just a temporary situation but dsappointing nevertheless.

If you are seeking a place to drink overpriced beers without a liberal in sight, this is the bar for you. Had countless late nights here with some fascinating people, many of whom I learned were in DC with me back in January 2021. Let's go Brandon!

Still one of the best country music bars in Manhattan. They have $3 PBRs and other very reasonably priced drinks. They also serve burger sliders, wings, and hotdogs. Bar has two floors, but sometimes they only have the 1st floor open. Great classic country music jukebox on both floors, with some other genres mixed in over the years. Bartenders are friendly for the most part. Great place to party without breaking the bank! Cash only!

Listen. It's not special, but in a way it is. In one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in this country, it is a country dive bar. It is the opposite of gentrification and people seem happy there. That is worth five stars. Beer tastes good.

We stopped close by for a couple of weeks and returned regularly to share a pitcher as it felt friendly and ‘American’ (we’re English). It’s clean, quirky and the music’s good.

The bartender on the second floor was very rude, came here to celebrate our friends birthday after work and after a few rounds she came and confronted me in front of everyone that I didn't tip her. They make you pay up front for every drink in cash so granted I only had a limited amount on me and I was ordering for different people in the group so we figured it would be easier to leave a large tip for her once we were done instead of doing the math when we're tipsy for every beer we ordered before she confronted me. I tried to explain but she rudely just left ,(7 more people were coming including the party of 6 that was on the table ) we left a small tip for the drink I ordered regardless but we moved our party to another bar where we had a tab and left a 400 dollar tip to the bartender who was so grateful he gave us all a free rounds of shots. That being said there's better options in the area.

Hello hopefully everyone sees this and take into consideration all the bad things this bar offers you've seen plenty of reviews but nothing like this one I went to the patriot and they told me I had to put on shoes to enter however I've been to many no shoe bars but I was determined to get in for jess party their bathrooms have no doors I got in one day with shoes on and the bartender was rude and half naked running around she spat in my drink and tried to charge me for that drink I was upstairs later I became drunk and it was closing time I woke up from my nap in the bathroom to see the bimbo bartender upstairs was doing unspeakable things with the bouncer . I would never go here again 1/10 they need new bartenders and new bouncer! to the length of even shutting down the place you guys totally suck

This bar is always a good time! The jello shots are unbeatable and the redheaded bartender is super friendly and fun to chat with!

Michaela, the Czech bartender, made me feel safe and comfortable. I was feeling very uncomfortable by a guy in the bar, and she made sure he was let out. She kicked him out!! Michaela is the best, and multiple times in, she’s made me feel so, so safe.

Female bartender on second floor was awful two weekends ago. She refused to serve any one other than two men sitting at the bar. She simply ignored everyone else .

Probably not a bar for everyone but it is absolutely the perfect bar for me after a long day of work. Chill, slightly grungy environment with an old-school jukebox, a few games scattered about, and $5 pints. Discovered this place looking for a bar to kill an hour at before dinner with my friends and I'll absolutely be coming back for post-work drinks.

The Czech bartender cannot understand her boundaries. She asks rudely for elevated tips and gets involved in people business. A two-faced person. Not a nice place to deal with her. Terrible experience. Even though she was tipped properly, and even way over the normal ammonts, she made the customer have a horrendous experience. The place is great, but it is not worth visiting it while she is attending.

Great place, over priced. But good food not worth the bang for your buck but Facebook kept advertising and I just couldn't say no my mother in law loved the place and aggressively suggest we go back. Upside is fried Oreos I mean who doesn't love fried Oreos. Lines are a bit long. And it's a fight for a seat so if you aren't dining in you're in luck.

I almost don’t want to tell you people about this, but I had a few beers and decided they deserve the stars and I want google maps credit.Cash (only? I don’t remember) nice and dark, real jute box, old as hell wooden bar, plenty of cool/ weird decorations to strike conversation if your date is boring. Huge plus is cheapest drinks I found for 50 miles in any direction beside East. Idk if it was an accident but I got laguniats ipas for like 3.50…Plus they have the original Buck Hunter and the aiming is hardly off!!!Found it incidentally while wandering the city but I’m a huge fan.

It's a dive bar! That's all I can say. No credit cards, cash only. They got some games to play if you want to keep busy. Prices are very fair for the area. I'm not sure what food they have although I did see someone eat wings so I guess they serve something.
