Really authentic spicy food, good service. The only complaint is that the serving size is smaller than expected

I got the Dan Dan noodles, truffle fried rice, and the pork belly. It was so well seasoned and very pleasant to the taste. I really enjoyed my time here along with the kind waiter and lovely atmosphere.

I really tried to be supportive from the get go but tonight’s dishes are very disappointing. The mushroom beef dish is soaked in soy and seasoned badly even when quantity seemed to be large. Don’t like this hit or miss experience
The absolute best Szchuan Chinese food in NYC. Everything is always so fresh and delicious. Their spicy fried chicken is so good.

I visited this place on my trip to New York because I saw it had been awarded a Michelin bib gourmand. The food was amazing and definitely lived up to its reputation. We got the dry chili chicken and ma po tofu. Both were spicy but good. The ma po tofu in particular was very tingly, which was a unique experience.

Will never go back! Food is really not great! Not very authentic either. Pork belly was dry. There just not a lot of crab meat in the crab meat sauce over rice! Servers just giving me weird attitude. Not welcoming at all! They almost refused to serve when I sat down at 8:15. 3 more tables came in after me and the last one sat at 9pm. The dining experience was not pleasant.

We were strolling down the street and actually looking at the menu for another Chinese restaurant across the street from this location. A local came up to us and said we should really try Peppercorn Station instead. Boy, am I glad we listened. We came in early afternoon on Memorial Day and were the first ones in the restaurant. Having the place to ourselves was wonderful because we were able to take our time with the menu. We noticed the lunch menu and decided to order from there as it was a good deal since it offers the meal and a soda can. My friend and I both ordered the fried noodles and it knocked both our socks off. So flavorful! Truly one of the better Chinese meals I've had in a long time. I wish I could take this restaurant back with me to Miami. Another great standout of this place is how sparkling clean it was.

I got the spicy braised beef noodle soup. I love spicy 🌶️ food and it was real spicy and rich. The beef was tender, the noodles and the bok Choy was perfect. The service was ok, not friendly but efficient. There is no atmosphere at all , it was Sunday early evening, few tables , no music and too quiet.

The place is a bit small, and the food was a little on the salty side for my taste. Still okay overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Food was very salty.
Had to call one of the employees standing around chatting to get water refill even though mine was the only table in the restaurant.
