I was the type of person to bring in my own coffee from home every morning. Mainly because I couldn't find a place that consistently brewed it to be enjoyable to drink everyday. For me, coffee is just one of those small rewards I give myself everyday for making it into work and not complaining about it (THAT much). Its my motivator. I've been to essentially every single coffee shop/bakery around my office within a 3 block radius for drip coffee and couldn't find a single place worth going to everyday. Sure, there are plenty of good lattes and cappucinos but a good drip cup was hard to find. Until I came to this little cart. Now I come in and see Jared. Every. Day. My mornings just aren't right without Periscope anymore. Perfect drip; hot or iced. None of that weak stuff. They don't skimp. They brew Lavazza (Gran Riserva I think?) and I'm particularly fond of it because it's so easy to drink with the perfect level of acidity.

I saw this Periscope Coffee station for the first time on Tuesday, February 11, but was not able to make a purchase until today, Friday, February 14, 2020. And I AM in love with Periscope Coffee! The barista who made my coffee had a great, light-hearted personality. All of the people who love and adore me would love if I had this guy's chill personality; truth be told, so do I! I AM almost never in this part of Manhattan, but was so happy to stop for a coffee at this location earlier today.

10/11/19 The barista has such a bright and welcoming personality! The Pumpkin pie (flavored) coffee is a HIT! Glad to have the truck close to my job, a great coffee makes the work day better.

A cute little coffee cart in Fidi! The barista is super friendly and hospitable. He definitely has a good sense of humor too! It's a great place to get quick coffee to-go. They accept apple pay!!! I'm always relieved to not have to dig into my bag to find my wallet.
This is my top 3 favorite coffee spots in the city, if you want variety come here! Excellent fusion drinks and great staff. Try the iced ginger snaps coffee or the iced mojito coffee, amazing!
