One of the few places that let you change the pho noodles to non-rice noodle. I also really enjoy the banh mi.

Be prepared for a wait. But the pay off to a delicious deep umami pho awaits you. Probably one of the best pho in NYC. The soup was not super beefy but had a deep umami flavor to it. Noodles were done just right and the beef balls were bouncy and juicy. The portions are not huge but gives you room to order other appetizers like the delicious spring roll. Will be back to try other things on the menu. Service was prompt but nothing to write home about - you won’t be ignored but it’s transactional. Definitely warrants a repeated visit.

Go to any other viet restaurant in Chinatown and stop giving these rude people your money.Went to buy takeout cha lua and when I asked the guy for a cha he didn’t even acknowledge me or anything and then proceeded to speak to someone behind me. Then he gives me an attitude when I ask if it’s uncooked or cooked because I wanted uncooked and he literally said “uncooked is in the back I don’t have time to get it for you”and then gives a huge attitude saying “what do you want then” and then when paying, says “hurry up” while I’m already handing him the cash. Pretty sure the only thing keeping this place opened is the amount of tourists visiting and trusting all the 5 star reviews and 4 star review saying “other than the roach climbing the wall….” ???? If a roach is climbing the wall visibly next to my food, I’m out of there. I can pretend to be ignorant about the cleanliness of a restaurant kitchen but not if it appears in my face. But I came to buy cha lua so who am I to talk? Avoid this place cause this 1 minute interaction has me never wanting to come back to deal with these rude people again no matter how good their cha lua is. I’ll stick to other mediocre cha lua thank you very much.

The food was delicious, and I’m super full now ☺️. I got the pho (#15), but everything else, including the spring rolls were very flavorful and delicious. Overall, 9/10 ??PS. they DO take credit card
