The coffee, I must say was delicious just with cream. The grilled sea bass with spinach etc for my sister was excellent, and I had a customized smoked salmon omelette with Swiss cheese, because they didn't have chèvre. ? Porquoi? And I wish they had Salade Nicoise with anchovies or tuna for next time. All in all, for sure it was excellent. For sure, I will come again. ❤️
We had a dinner in this french style restaurant. We were a bigger group but it turned out that one could not book a table for 10 via their web site. So we booked two times 5 persons. The restaurant was only half full thus the personnel was able to join our groups together. Many of us took steaks which they told were delicious. I had oven rosted chicken for it was a french style restaurant after all. The chicken was ok, but not something I would take again. The starters we shared were great! We had tuna tartare, shrimp coctail and tuna sashimi.The service was friendly and fast. I liked the quiet athmosphere of the restaurant. The price is towards upscale but at the same level as the restaurants in Mid town tend to have. I think the Rue 57 is ok place to visit for a regular dinner.Parking: As it is in the Mid town the parking is quite expensive.

Just ate here with family - and it was extremely average food with excellent service. 3 of us had stomach discomfort after eating. The mussels were small and the accompaniment tasted way too acidic and bordering rotten. The fries were the best part. Look elsewhere unless you find the snob factor worth the experience.
Sat in a shockingly quiet corner with dinner partner. Very good service Want to explore the menu again.

Food was delicious and our service was timely. Our water glasses were always kept full. My steak frites was delicious as well as the oreo beignets. My only suggestion would be to reupholster the beautiful curved bench seat where we were seated, the rips in the fabric make the place seem a tad run down, even though it isn't.
We had a lovely brunch. My Brioche French Toast was wonderful. I had to knock off a star because there was so little cheese on my wife's omelette she had to dig for it. Otherwise, we loved the place. We're from just north of Philly and one of our favorite brunch places is Parc, and Rue had that same fun atmosphere and excellent service.
