Sauce & Barrel is JUST far enough away from my office that it completely escaped my radar for close to a year, but is close enough to have a legit sit-down lunch experience on a slow Friday. Ambiance was really nice. I came with my friend from work after the gym so we just needed something low key. Has an upstairs section. Entrees were amazing. We got the smoked mozzarella pizza and the vodka rigatoni so good! We had to ask for plates so we can share our pasta and pizza but that was fine, we get it people don't realize. Decent. Not the best, not the worst. I've had the pizza, wings, pasta and apps here. Keeping it real below. There aren't a ton of great pizza options in FiDi. So if you're in this area, it's an option.Wings - fried and drenched in buttery Buffalo saucePizza - needs a better topping ratio. So so so floppy!
