Delicious food and friendly staff

Savann is one of Harlem's best kept secrets. The drinks are amazing - my favorite is the Harlem Renaissance and the red sangria and the food is even better. They have the best falafel, mushroom pizza, cheese rolls and so much other great food and everything is made on site and super fresh. (The bread basket with olives is a must have!!) The staff is always super friendly and goes the extra mile to ensure you have a great experience. They're extremely knowledgeable about the menu and drink suggestions if you're not sure where to begin. The baklava - aye!! So delicious. If you have a chance to meet him, the owner is truly a gem. You can tell how amazing he truly is by how good the food tastes and how amazing the staff is. Can't wait to visit NYC again to eat here!

I've just moved out of NYC two weeks ago, but I'm still hoping to come back soon and want to continue to spread the word to my neighbors and friends about Savann. The owner has chatted with me several times over the years when I've come in for a take out order or even when just walking by on errands. I've seen other reviews that show others apparently feel the same, that he makes you feel like a long time family friend. I particularly like the babaganoush, hummus and ezme. My boyfriend enjoys these as well and the little manti dumplings. I don't order those for myself since I claim to avoid pasta, but secretly finish his leftovers! It's very good. And there's so much more to try. Thank you. I'll miss you until I get to come back to the city as a visitor some time.

This resturant has the rudest customer service ever and I would highly advise that spend you money at an establishment that honors your dollar. As a native Harlem resident, there are some many amazing black owned restaurants with top tier customer service. The black dollar matters and all businesses in predominantly black neighborhoods need to understand this. The food was decent however I will never support this business ever again.

Savann is literally just steps from our home, but I was first introduced to them as a visitor in Harlem several years ago. A friend invited me to meet her for drinks there after a business meeting--her favorite spot in the area for drinks, she said. They earned that mark. We've neglected them, though, taking for granted their daily 4-7 happy hour because they're so close by. We shouldn't have done that. Their happy hour prices can't be beat, with $6 beers and well drinks and sangria and $10 signature cocktails. This visit, we had the pineapple jalapeño margarita. Sooo good, spicy, served in a spice-rimmed glass. To eat, we had the spiced fried chicken wings, cheese rolls, and fries--all for under $50. The wings took our tastebuds back to our last home in Chicago, where we could always count on a $10 bucket from the hot deli at local Jewel grocery chain. The cheese rolls were a tasty, unique treat, light and satisfying. They're made of phyllo dough, rolled and fried crisp with cheeses inside, like tequilas. And I think I tasted a hint of fresh dill. So glad to have Savann in our neighborhood, and looking forward to stopping in more often now. Shout-out to super-friendly bartender and server Sarah!

The staff was so friendly and attentive, I greatly thank the waiter who attended to my orders. It is, without a doubt, the best restaurant for intimate dates, family parties, and other special occasions. Strongly suggested!

The restaurants safety measures was the first thing I noticed! They take it seriously and it made me feel so comfortable and at ease. This salmon is probably one of the BEST dishes I've ever had. Beautifully cooked, the sauces over the dish all combine beautifully as well, and amazing service. This spot has become my favorite restaurant here in Harlem! Everything is delicious!

Love the atmosphere, the staff was awesome, and the food and wine was delicious. Everything from the bread, the appetizers, the split pea soup, the main course, to the dessert was out of this world. The chef came out and greeted us giving each of his client a special treatment. This is a place that truly cares of each customer and I will definitely recommend this place.

I can’t remember the last time I had a romantic dinner date. This place is absolutely perfect and I felt safe. They even offered a private room for dinner. They offer a complementary house bread made daily it is fantastic and nicely warmed.

Really wonderful place with good quality food. My wife and I spent some great time there. The staff were welcoming and the service was impeccable. The flafel was well made and the chicken came well done but not dry. The ravioli was with a little to much sauce and wasn't as good but all the rest was really nice and nothing to complain. In terms of the prices: it's a good looking restaurant with beautiful setting, very clean and plesent atmosphere the prices are not low but for this city are also not that high. Two entree, two drinks, and one opening it was about a 100 dollars. Overall definitely worth a visit.

This place is worth giving a shot. They serve big portions for reasonable rates. Consistently well organized and with awesome vibes. Will come visit again.

I would not get the lamb dumplings! The lentil soup was good and the chicken kabobs. The lamb dumplings, manti had a very weird texture and tasted very fatty.
