Love this place and it was my go-to for a while...unfortunately they don't do shio ramen again, so it's basically either tonkotsu or vegetarian. Bums me out, cause the shio was awesome.
Great place to stop by and grab a quick bowl of ramen. It's very fairly priced and you get a lot of toppings for your ramen. A lot of places struggle to offer an egg, seaweed, and bamboos shoots for under $15. I ordered the black garlic tonkatsu ramen and the felt like the broth lacked some depth. The garlic flavoring definitely helped by adding the needed flavor to this bowl of ramen. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very much no frills and casual. A very conveniently located ramen-ya on St. Marks place. The spicy miso was excellent for the price, with perfectly cooked chashu. The kara-age buns were surpringly very tender and delicious. The service was very warm and accommodating as well!
