We walked in and enjoyed some of the best Ramen, Bento boxes and service we have ever had. The staff was friendly and accommodating as we requested something on the lunch menu at dinner and they allowed us to have it anyway with no extra charge. The facility had a calm and welcoming ambiance. We didn't plan on eating here, but it proved to be a decision that we don't regret!
Shokudo is now permanently closed. I live in the neighborhood and walked by today. It now has signage for Yum Yum Thai - which is what it used to be before it was Shokudo. Full circle.

My son and i met here for brunch and ordered bunch of different dishes to try. Everything was so good and tastefully served, that i wish i can go back there again today. Will definitely go back next time i am in NYC. The place is clean and the wine they serve was great. It went so well with spicy dishes we ordered. Give it a try and order Blatina red wine
