Thank you to Sing Sing for accommodating us!! We walked in and they were able to put us in a room on a SATURDAY NIGHT in no time flat. Incredible service from the karaoke and bar team. Whenever youre walking through, you can only hear music from the main bar - the private rooms are REALLY well sound proofed (I hope, I screamed Teardrops on my Guitar pretty loud). 10/10/10. Thanks for making our trip to NY so memorable (Also shoutout to the bouncers who let one of us slingshot from the steps )

Not the best karaoke spot and rude staff

This is a dive karaoke bar. It's messy, unpolished, and a blast. There's no stage- the bartenders just hand a mic from behind the bar and you can sing from your seat, standing against the wall, or anything in between. No one is good, everyone's screaming, it's a vibe, and it's fun. If you want to shine and be a star, this isn't the spot for you. If you want a full bar sing along and a lot of laughs, this is the spot.

Very limited song selection compared to other karaoke places in the city. The biggest problem is - THERE IS NO SONG LIST, not even a digital one. Your only option is to go on the website and search for songs one by one. The result is a whole group of people just sitting absentmindedly thinking of what songs they know, or scrolling through their playlists on their phone looking for something to search, completely disengaged from each other. The whole point is that this is supposed to be a social activity! On top of all that, technical issues abound. Constant feedback from mics, lyrics lighting up completely out of time with the actual music. If they can fix these issues, it can easily be a 5 star business. As it is now, I don't recommend it at all.

We got a private karaoke room and had a lot of fun! They have a lot of the popular songs we wanted to sing. We had 2 mics and there is drinks service at the door bell which was super quick. Overall good

Sing Sing Karaoke is the dive bar of karaoke places but it fits into the East Village vibe. The place is grungy and a bit dirty. I've been here a couple of times with friends and even some of the microphones and tables were sticky from the dried alcohol. It stills serves its purpose though. Their prices a bit cheaper than the karaoke places in Koreatown. And I really like their song selection. In keeping with the neighborhood, they have the best selection of rock songs. You will find a lot punk and metal songs here than other places.

First time going to a Karaoke bar, and it was fun! You get a private room, or you can sing by the bar if you want. For the private room, you get two microphones, and it is 10 dollars after 8 pm for the room. The iPad has a lot of music types. The bathroom is at the end of the hallway where the private room is.

Staff was extremely disrespectful. Came there on mothers day with a group of 6. One member was under 21 and her mother was the person we were celebrating. We didn't have her ID with us but upon asking if it mattered if we're were all not drinking alcohol he mocked our question and said he didn't care. He seemed intoxicated himself and mumbled most of time. It was unfortunate considering we had a wonderful time there 5 years back to celebrate a 16th birthday of one of the other members with us today. We don't mind that we couldn't sing karaoke, it's the rudeness that through it all off. Good luck
