This place was a great find after walking into Lillie's just a half block away, which was filled with "I want to see and be seen after work yuppie douches. Down to earth patrons, great food and service with close proximity to the O'Neill Theatre to boot. Highly recommend for a drink or dinner before a show

So you made it to Times Square...everything is great! Except you are trying to get out of all this madness and have yourself a nice drink and a place to sit down. The Olive Garden is so close I bet they have great drinks(and unlimited breadsticks!) Except you came to Yelp for a real review of a real Bar and not this Planet Hollywood and Buffalo Wild Wings chain nonsense. This is New York City not a strip mall on a suburban highway. There are a bazillion bars in NYC so someone's five star bar is someone else's two star, but I really enjoyed Social. The bartender was friendly, the drinks kept coming, and I was pleasantly surprised by their burger and wings. I wouldn't make a special trip to come here, but if I'm in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to stop by.
