Absolutely amazing. I have lived in Italy for almost 2 years and have eaten hundreds of pizzas there. I was thrilled that the Sorbillo in NYC was as good as the one in Napoli, which most of my friends who have lived in Italy for a while would agree is the best pizza one can get. One of the best places to get pizza in the East Village. Pizza was made perfect. The best combination of sauce, cheese and dough. We also had zucchini fritters which were outstanding. They have a nice sitting area outside which made our meal even more enjoyable.Great service and excellent pizza.
Sorbillo Pizzeria was nearby when we walked around Manhattan, so it was decided for lunch time. Restaurant is maintained clean during COVID. There weren't many people here when we dined. Everyone working wore masks, and there are hand sanitizers provided here. We made reservations for indoor dining, but it is not needed during this COVID time.
