Food pretty good but the service has not been good last several times. Wait staff in a big hurry. Not terribly polite or warm or friendly . Clunky around the plates and clearing the table, the service feels like a diner mentality not a restaurant.

We had a wonderful experience at Souvlaki GR. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. This quaint little hole in the wall restaurant shouldn’t be overlooked! We had 7 in our party and made reservations in advance. The restaurant was packed on a Monday night at 8pm. For the table, we ordered chicken, pork and shrimp kebabs that were delicious, as well as some hummus and feta spreads, pastitsio, spanakopita, and fries. The baklava was also perfect! You definitely will be bumping shoulders in this tight space but the food, waitstaff, and experience are worth it. Thank you for the attentive service!

I love Greek food and was excited when a co worker recommended this place. We were traveling for a work conference and came to Souvlaki GR. The place looks great but the server/host was terrible. She instantly had an attitude. We ordered the 3 different dips- spicy feta, hummus and tzatziki and a drink to start. We were unsure of our entree and asked for some more time. We were met with the rudest look and the server walked away. We continued looking and enjoyed our dips and drinks. A while later she finally came back and we ordered our entree. Once she took the order, she snatched the menus and walked away. The food was pretty good. I've honestly tasted better greek food but I needed to eat before making my way home. We waited even longer for the server to appear with the bill for which I never received my receipt. I had to go and didn't plan on waiting around. I still tipped her although I sincerely think she didn't deserve it. For the amount of money spent there the service was abysmal and the overall experience was ruined. I had wonderful experiences in other places during my time in NY. But this is a place I definitely won't return to.

Love Souvlaki GR!! Great spot for lunch, brunch, dinner, etc. Dips are amazing get all of them, pita is delicious, pitzas are great too. Gigante beans taste like home.

I got the lamb shank with potatoes. It was what I was looking for, a tasty, healthy meal. The classic Greek interior was a refreshing change from my usual. The server was great and helped me make the right choice!

Its a nice atmosphere but the food was just bland i had a patsio or something like that it was burned and bland the tatziki and pita was delicious tho and i had a cup of drink which was tiny for the price and tasted bad the waitresses was taking care of other tables and not once came up to ask how was everything but went up to the other tables which was… something
