I always wanted to stop by since last year and I’m glad I did today! The roast of the espresso was delicious and the baristas were respectful. The store has handmade candles, earrings, and stickers available for purchase from local artists, which is always greatly appreciated. My only concern was the clientele. I was grilled by a group of women, scoffed at when i said excuse me. Maybe it was just that specific group of people. But it definitely was unexpected. If you’re an anxious person of color, who is trying to take more of an initiative to step out and try new places, this might not be the place when they are serving a high-volume of customers. But you can tell the barista do their work with pride, extremely friendly. I was met with a smile and plenty of patience. I get so anxious sometimes that I stutter and Trumble, but the cashier/ manager treated me just like any other guest. Bless the creators who make their art at home within this space, and the people who take the time to provide us with a service. Bless these women with safety when they go home in the afternoon. Bless them with patient and kind guests and plenty of tips

While the food is tasty, it is hardly suffices as a meal and you will still be hungry after. You will be expected to retrieve your own drinks, and be asked to clean up after your table when done. I’m not sure where they lost the concept of customer service but if you’re not serving and not cleaning the tables what am I tipping you for? Would not recommend to anyone, also noting the space is incredibly tiny and barely has enough space to dine comfortably. Your money can be better spent elsewhere for sure.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible the space is narrow and only accessible by a walk down stairway

It's a small, cute cafe/brunch spot tucked away. The menu is inaccurate though. My food came with cheese even though there was no mention of it in the ingredients. When I asked, I was told that the menu is outdated. Annoying, but not a deal breaker for me. It might be for someone who is lactose though. The staff should really update the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible
Didn’t like this place at all, service sucks it feels like the waitress doesn’t work on tips so she doesn’t care to cater. Won’t go back.

We enjoyed the ambiance. The coffee was good and the breakfast sandwich was so fresh we came back the next day for more.

Very nice café for breakfast or brunch. Hot drinks are well served and delicious! The prices are correct! The staff is pleasant but it is up to us to collect our drinks and get rid of them...I didn't know that before leaving 18% for the service...
Love this place it's a must for me whenever ever am in new york.

Sugar hill has become my favorite, regular spot for a coffee before work. The almond milk Cortado is smooth and delicious. Staff is really personable. They actually remember what you drink and seem to enjoy being at work, which is an anomaly in NYC in 2023.

An unusual but really nice place with real homemade Ice Tea, water, tea and ice cubes. The staff is very friendly and responsive. It is very easy to find consumption at all prices.A “like” for my Google Review, thank you and Enjoy!
