Taste of Persia NYC Reviews

Excellent homey persian food. The long line and tight space are totally worth it because the food tastes heavenly, this place is very famous as serving "the best soup in new york" which is their Ash Reshteh, but actually every item on their menu is a must try! Amazing ghormeh sabzi and fesenjan. And they also have Kabab Tabei and Abgoosht which you cant get in other persian spots in NYC.

I'm writing this review more as a memory for myself but it warms my heart to see how much people loved this place and Saeed Pourkay. I got to stop by here a before covid started. Asheh Reshteh is now my new comfort food!Visited this place after watching a Youtube video featuring the owner Mr.Saeed Pourkay's journey. He is such nice & welcoming guy! Since it was our first visit, he offered samples of every item on the menu. Asheh Reshteh (mixed beans & veggies soup) is a must-try.Also like the lamb & lentils curry with rice.
