The views are spectacular and the ambiance comfortable and cozy, with a friendly and competent staff. We really enjoyed The Roof because of the views of the city AND the unpretentious atmosphere.
The whole experience was amazing, great view, warm people, good choices of drinks, comfortable seating. I would highly recommend to just chill, lounge about and have fun, and the bartender Jessica was by far the best bartender I've ever had

The Roof is actually located in the Le Meridien hotel and the entrance to the roof is at 120 W 57th. I passed it several times because the description online said it was at the Viceroy hotel. Just a heads up, there is another rooftop bar called The Roof and that’s in the LES. I went on a stormy night and there weren’t a lot of people there, but the servers were still servicing people.
