Food was incredible, but the service wasn’t the greatest. Our first waiter was lackluster, but the second waiter was great. Also the receptionist was a bit rude. Other than that, I’m still thinking about the espresso martini and oysters - they’re amazing!

Pasta amazing, other dishes overall also good, but overall not worth the price and overall overhyped. Service was not great.

So, this is my second time at Torrisi. The first time I was blown away by two of the 5 dishes we had. But wasn’t as impressed as I thought I’d be, especially for the price. The second time I was excited because ai felt like I knew what to order. Came with different friends from my first visit. Only repeat orders were the hams with zeppole & chopped liver- both outstanding. But everything else was just meh. We got talked into a $85 truffle penne- it was good, but not sure it was $85 good. Lobster and shrimp ravioli were so salty and just not good. Special steak was fine but have had way better and it was a bit overcooked. The service was off the charts amazing and atmosphere is very cool. But at $300 a person, every single dish should be off the charts amazing and that just wasn’t the case. Pretty sure I don’t ever need to go back. Too bad, because I want to love it.

If you love Carbone, you will LOVE Torrisi. 10/10 I would recommend this place to my friends.Making a reservation on resy was very tough, but this girl made it happen lolWe ordered tortellini pomodoro (10/10), linguini in a pink Manhattan clam sauce (10/10), and raviolini with prawns and saffron (10/10)!!! Everything was spectacular! We also ordered two cocktails (royale garibaldi and caffe espresso) and they were delicious. We absolutely loved everything we had except comp lemon sorbets unfortunately.. it was toooo sour/acidic for us lolCan't wait to come back and try other dishes!

Walked out with a bad taste in my mouth. Was really looking forward to this reservation and am a big Major Food Group fan. The restaurant was freezing on our side, to the point where my pregnant friend wore her hat indoors. Plates came out very slowly, which we didn't mind until about an 1.25 hrs in, when our plates were cleared and we were explicitly told that we were not being offered dessert because someone was waiting on a table.Seemed odd considering there were at least two other tables near us that had been seated prior to us sitting down that were not being rushed. We were told that they could move us to another place so we could have dessert, which seemed bizarre... then that table could be used for the people they said were waiting? The waiter said that they could check with the manager. We said that we did not want to be moved, but were interested in the cheesecake if that is an option. When the waiter came back, he said that he "got us more time" and we said "how much time?" and he couldn't tell us. We then said we felt so weird we just wanted to leave, but the waiter said that our dessert was already ready for us so we had to take it. So we downed this cheesecake in probably five minutes flat, placed a credit card on the table to signify that we could leave quickly, but then sat there waiting for them to bring us the bill for another ten minutes. Also watched a table (same size/# of covers) sit empty in front of us for this time. Then they brought us petit fours, which was even more confusing... was it to make up for the ordeal or was that always coming...?The waiter did apologize for the all of the oddness surrounding the table (truly appreciate that and clearly these issues did not boil down to his own personal doing), but overall it was handled in a way that felt that the restaurant's timing is the only one that matters (if plates came out fast and I didn't see open tables, I would have understood having a table time limit, but you can't have it both ways).Pasta was great, cheesecake was amazing, but octopus was a bit rubbery and salty; overall in food and service not the one michelin star quality we expected. Hoping it's a one off experience and that management sees this review to ensure it is!

An elevated atmosphere but they do hospitality right without feeling stuffy. The tortellini was exceptional, especially their black truffle special. The cavatelli with Jamaican beef was good but not my favorite. Can't go wrong with the affogato and almond cheesecake for dessert. I look forward to coming back when I get a chance.

Our go to date spot at least once a month. Their entire staff from Sanaa, John, Mark, and Herson, to everyone else. They hit every mark of hospitality. Now the food. You cannot go wrong with a single thing on the menu, but I always end up ordering double tortellini pomodoro. Such a simple dish that is over the top in flavor!

I was only able to secure an 11:30 lunch reservation on Resy. Walking in to Torrisi, great impression, it’s very beautiful! We told our server we were seeing a show and he assured us he’d have us out on time. The sesame crusted bread was really good. We started with the sardine appetizer which was a great flavour. Cucumber salad was definitely refreshing and nothing like we’ve had before. We only did pasta and no secondi since it was lunch. The tortellini and the pomodoro sauce is worthy of licking off the plate. My daughter really loved the cavatelli even with a bit of spice. The ravolini with prawns and saffron also was great with a unique taste. Linguini with clam sauce was different and lovely from the usual vongole we like. We would definitely come back and would love to come for dinner if we can ever get a reservation.

Get the fennel and grapefruit. All of the pastas are overcooked, poorly executed. Overall, not worth the effort and wait

Unfortunately I had quite a bad service experience here which I wouldn't expect for this caliber of restaurant (not the servers fault I think it's more the way the restaurant is run). I even provided feedback to management.
