Should have listened to the reviews... but thought I would give it a chance given how much I enjoy other Quality Branded restaurants. Service is a TOTAL mess. I had hoped it would have improved since they have now been open for a couple months... But no, they are literally chickens running around with their heads cut off. We had 3-4 people come up at the beginning to take our drink orders, which is quite annoying when you're trying to enjoy your company. No communication between servers. Then went nearly an hour before our appetizers came and when they did, the order was wrong. Then entrees came. Again, brought us the wrong order. I understand this happening once during a meal, but twice? Had to beg for water more than once. Then the check came and was MUCH higher than expected... Under my breath I said - I would think they would have at least comped us a dessert given all the issues with our meal/service. Then the server picks the check back up and brings another check that is $100ish less... at first we thought oh good they comped our first round of drinks... NO. They had just brought the completely wrong check, charging us for all the wrong items they brought. Food was fine, nothing exceptional. Drinks not memorable. The only thing I will remember was an overpriced meal with lackluster service. Sorry Twin Tails, but this was a total miss.

Twin Tails is advertised as Thai and Vietnamese fusion, which I didnt get it from the food itself. but I dont mind because the food is amazing. I would say it's just an Asian fusion with a lot of different elements combined.

The space is dark and cozy but elegant. the service are excellent the host is super nice, coat check right away upon arrival. even you have reservation they require you to have at least half party to be seated. you can get a drink at the bar while waiting, they can bill straight to your table. we are a table of 6 the table is a bit too small for all the food we ordered but we managed. highly recommend to come at a group of 4 so you can try more different dishes and also at a more comfortable seating.

let's talk about the drinks.

- Salty lychee martini is SO delicious. i was a bit hesitate to order, doubting a sweet lychee will taste weird if it's salty but i was completely blown away. it's a little bit like a dirty martini but has sweet and thai basil flavor. their martini glass is also very large. good portion for the drink.
- Bangkok screwdriver : not my favorite. i think it's premixed , it came out really fast just poured into the ice. nothing spectacular but there's a lot of ice in the highball. not worthy
- if you are whisky drinker, theres no price on the menu, will have to ask the bartender for the price, but the pour is generous.

All food are excellent , the highlights are

- Whole Dorade Sashimi: very fresh fish and good presentation, if you are the person dont like to see the fish head, please skip this dish.
- Green Curry escargot : best twist of the escargot we had , green curry is so tasty , it comes with toasted bread, in the end we just use bread to clean the plate because it is that good.
- Crying Tiger Steak: we ordered medium rare , the steak was perfectly cooked, thick cut very juicy and pink on the inside. very good portion best to share.
- twin lobster noodle: there are two salty fried lobster on top of glass noodle. noodle is very flavorful, and lobsters are fresh and juicy even it's deep fried.
- Cho Lon Duck : it's very delicious crispy duck served like the Peking duck style. the skin is not as crispy as pecking duck style it's more like deep fried instead of roasted. the kumquat and pineapple is a good southeast Asian touch.
- King Crab and Uni bun : very small portion but very delicious. flavor is a bit like lobster roll topped with Uni.
- Crispy pork roll and netted chicken rolls are good, but the maine lobster roll is a bit let down.
- lemongrass ribs are probably the weakest of the dishes, it's more like the shanghainese sweet and sour pork ribs.

Not worth the hype.

Came here with friends and family’s group of 8. Order almost everything on the menu, cause we want to try it all.

Hate to say it wasn’t impressed by any of it.

Twin Tails exceeded all expectations! We arrived early at 5 PM and didn’t leave until 10, yet at no point did we feel rushed—the service was impeccable. From start to finish, everything was top-notch—the food, the drinks, the ambiance, and the overall vibe. The wine selection was fantastic, and the raw fish dishes were simply outstanding. Every bite was a delight, and even the desserts were exceptional. We truly had a blast enjoying an unforgettable five-hour dining experience. Can’t wait to return!

Wanted the like this place so badly: the food was just not the good, esp for outlandish prices, drinks were frankly bad. But the view and atmosphere was great. Maybe a good place for a bad date u want to leave early??

Twin tails is located opposite side of bad roman(3rd floor on columbus circle shop).
As a fan of quality group, this one unfortunately quite a dissapoinment.
What we order:
betel leaf 7/10(very standard and i notice all the apps is on small side, so keep in mind if you with a bigger group, you might want to order more item).
Dorade sashimi 8/10(refreshing and light but again nothing special)
Shaking beef 4/10( huge dissapoinment on this one, if you go to chinatown for authentic bo luc lac, pretty sure you are more satisfied, from the sauce to the beef even the plain watercress cant safe this dish, for $47 this dish is complete failure).
Cho lon duck 8/10..its pretty good but not like $90 worth to blew out your mind kind of dish.
all the dishes doesnt come with sides, you need to order seperately, which i dont mind.
We got bamboo sweet sticky rice, the way they serving was unique, its inside the bamboo but again taste wise nothing special.
Drinks we got 4 cocktails:
-salted lychee martini(7/10),lipstick palm(7/10), phuket swizzle(7/10) and expresso martini(8/10).
Dessert:
UBE creme caramel(9/10) highlight of the night.
-pistachio pandan souffles(6/10) meh.. again nothing special.
Service is nice and attentive.
Ambiance is dark, intimate and crowded but not overwhelming(went here on the weekdays with reservation).

Newest but rather just another concept by quality branded. The decor is nice. The ambience was lovely and the room was dimly lit giving it an intimate feel. I sat at the bar and had a few dishes which were quite interesting but nothing really wowed me. Prices are high and do not reflect on food or service. There are a few seats at the bar, probably 6 or 8.

Giving this 5 stars for the food and the decor.

We had reservations and arrived early. Sadly they made us wait over 30 mins to be seated. They did make up for with throwing in stuff but it was really frustrating to have to wait that long with a reservation.

To cocktails that we had were not the best. I think though with time they will get better. Just tasted kind of bitter and with weird aftertaste.

The crab uni bun was amazing! And so glad I got it. Also a must have is the duck, out of this world. The Pad Thai was pretty good too and the shaking beef I would skip and focus on the duck.

Dessert was okay, the soufflé was great. The ube crème caramel or flan also had a weird after taste.

I would for sure come back to have the duck and the crab and uni bun and also to try other items. The vibes were good and I can imagine that they are just now getting their footing.
