TRYING TO CALL TO PLACE AN ORDER AND IT DOESN'T EVENRING IT GOES STRAIGHT TO VOICE MAIL, THIS PLACE HAS BEEN BECOMING SUCH TRASH ESPECIALLY WITH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOW YOU CAN'T EVEN PLACE AN ORDER- I HOPE THEY GET SHUT DOWN BECAUSE THEY ARE TRASH AND WILL NO LONGER GET MY MONEY
Closed - maybe a new owner will reopen. We loved this place and visited regularly for years as we raised our family. Sorry to see it go.
I had all time best Sicilian pizza from Amore this evening. The bottom of the crust was golden brown, and delicious. It was a beautiful and perfect meal with a small side salad. I was enraptured over this meal, which went a long way to make up for a ton of other crazy stuff happening
I recently got discharged from the hospital for my personal injuries. I thought I could go here to get a couple slices of pizza and sit down to enjoy it. The lady working the counter had told me that since covid they do not serve anybody food. When I asked for real silverware. She again told me they don't have any silverware due to covid. The white cheap plastic silverware I was given was years old in storage in the hot kitchen. So old that the fork and knife were curled up in the packaging rendering it completely useless. So I used my pocket knife and my hands to cut the pizza into small pieces so I could eat it. While I'm sitting there. This lady gladly serves two other customers right in front of me and gives them the nice sturdy silverware to use. I don't know what inclined her do to so. But that was unbelievably unsatisfactory. I will never return to this Pizzeria so long as I live.
I drop by there after a quick trip to the library and because I was in a rush decided to just get two slices of pizza that was already premade. The pizza was onions, peppers and sausage. It was fantastic. Delicious and a nice and soft crust.
Pizza is ok but delivery takes forever! The owner uses door dash and grub hub and does not offer refunds if they lose your food, or when it takes hours and shows up cold
Amores used to be our go to place to order from, but now they aren’t great anymore. They switched from in house delivery to using a 3rd party service that is horrible. Also, they always seem to be closed. They used to send discount coupons in email and they stopped. Won’t be using them anymore. We used to order from them every week, sometimes twice. I don’t know what happened to them, but they need to get their act together. What a huge disappointment they have become. When you call there is no voicemail message telling you what’s going on. Why aren’t they open on Sunday at 2pm??? Plus the app lets you go through all the trouble of placing the order and then it gets canceled after the fact. Total waste of time!! Go elsewhere
This was the worst takeout I have ever had. Had the chicken marsala. It should be described as sliced chicken breast with canned mushroom gravy. Won't be ordering here ever again!!
This place used to be good, we just spent 90 bucks on an order, apparently this is chicken Frances and shrimp scampi. The pizza was absolutely disgusting. Used to be the best in the valley, not ordering again from here. I see the comments about not having staff, perhaps it's time for a new endeavor for you guys. Madison everytime from here on out. I'm sorry to write such a negative review but this is unacceptable, we work hard for our money too.
Amore used to be great place to eat with reasonable prices but since COVID taste of food has gone down hill along with the increase in prices no thank you your business has been placed on the back burner so to speak.
Restaurantji Recommends
Their Scilian Grandma's pizza was cooked to perfection (super fresh ingredients)and the crust was really good and crispy. They also make a killer tiramisu.
Used to be a go to place when I had relatives in Pleasant Valley. Went there last night to find that there was only counter service for eat in, no waitstaff (Due to COVID and lack of applicants?), and a limited kid's menu for the grandchildren. Food was served on paper plates with plastic utensils. Had the spaghetti and meatball special, which was nowhere near as good as it used to be, and in fact the meatballs appear to have been frozen package type. Won't be going back......
Love the food. Everything is always amazing. Especially love the two slice deal and the meatball parm deal. The pizza is always amazing. Definitely recommend coming here.
Staff is always so friendly whenever I come. The food is definitely recommended. Always love the deals that they have going on.
Always great deals and even better food. Love their pizza and wings
