A staple on Port Blvd., Eastern Strawberry lunch specials are always good! I went with the sesame chicken and Pop got the chicken with curry sauce. Delicious. Not really a sit down restaurant, but after 40 years still cooking up great food.

The food is very bad, what the hell is that? jelly?? Don't know how to make a good dressing for food? Today I waste my money with this food I'm disappointed first time they do this to me, the egg roll they felt old fried, and the dumplings were very fried and very dry.... I can't believe it!!!

Food is excellent! I'm so glad that i finally found such a good Chinese take out. The staff is super nice always all the time. I highly recommend and also the place is super clean and very nice.

This place is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! The woman acts as if she doesn't speak English, which is a COMPLETE LIE, and the attitudes of all staff is deplorable! Food isn't cooked properly and tastes as bad as the attitudes of the employees. I honestly don't know how/ why this place is still open and allowed to legally serve the public this atrocious "food". Do yourselves a favor and stay clear of this place at ALL COSTS!! I really wish I could give it 0 stars!

My fiance and I moved to Port Washington last year and have been ordering from Eastern Strawberry for all our Chinese food takeout orders. I love their vegetarian options. They're always willing to mix different sauces with different dishes, and the food is always ready promptly. I typically order fried tofu with veggies in curry sauce with vegetable lo mein or eggplant in garlic sauce. The tofu comes nicely fried, crispy on the outside and firm on the inside. The curry sauce is really tasty, but their garlic sauce is really a gem. It's one of the best garlic sauces I've had, (coming from a young Jewish man, this says a lot!!). Give them a try, definitely get something with garlic sauce.
