Delicious sandwiches!Great deli in Port Washington we can get hot and cold sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, and platters.I really enjoyed the Town Dock which had roast beef, pastrami, salami, and melted provolone cheese. I got it with the Russian dressing. It was a great combination of flavors, and it really hit the spot! My wife likes cold sandwiches and she got the Viking with the variety of cold cuts, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. I tried a couple bites and liked it as well. we also tried the homemade iced tea, which was good. The staff was very friendly, and made the sandwiches very quickly. They also have three tables in the front where you can eat. You get a very homey feel from this deli. Definitely recommended!

Title: A Disappointing Experience: A Review of Hincks DeliPage 1: IntroductionHincks Deli, nestled in the heart of our community, promises a savory selection of sandwiches and a cozy atmosphere. However, my recent visit left much to be desired. Despite the allure of their menu, the rudeness and lack of hospitality exhibited by the staff overshadowed any culinary delights.Page 2: The Unwelcoming AtmosphereUpon entering Hincks Deli, I was met with an unwelcoming aura that permeated the space. The staff seemed disinterested and almost inconvenienced by my presence. As I approached the counter to place my order, I was greeted with nothing more than a curt nod. Any attempt at polite conversation was met with dismissive responses, leaving me feeling like an unwanted intrusion rather than a valued customer.Page 3: The Final StrawThe culmination of my disappointment came when my order was finally ready. Instead of receiving the courteous service one would expect from a deli, I was met with a brusque shove of my sandwich across the counter, accompanied by a gruff "there's your food." The lack of basic manners and common courtesy left a bitter taste in my mouth that even the most delectable sandwich could not mask. In conclusion, while Hincks Deli may boast a tantalizing menu, the discourteous behavior of the staff tarnishes any appeal it may hold.

Great old school deli, as soon as you walk in there are special sandwiches hung all over. The service was quick and friendly . Speaking for breakfast because that’s all I have tried , the Lenny special was delicious, and the price for it was much more reasonable than most delis around.

I buy lunch there occasionally. Excellent lunch meat, salads and sandwiches. The egg salad sandwiches are legendary, and for good reason. Friendly service. They have been serving the public for many years.Parking: There is a lot behind the building. Enter from the side street, Willowdale Avenue. Usually metered street spots in front are also available.

I can’t remember a time that I’ve been to Hinks and they didn’t forget something. The employees are flippant and don’t write things down, they don’t answer the phones if you want to pick up. I’d say if you’re looking for a good deli in Port Washington, there are many better options than hinks

Was revisiting Port Washington where I grew up and went to high school down the street. We were looking for a local place to eat and this deli got excellent ratings. It reminds one of a " Mom and Pop" deli ownership. Small establishment with two small tables to eat at. Parking is limited to street parking and small parking lot directly behind establishment ( Bak door entrance also). They specialized in chicken . We both ordered a chicken salad sandwich. Huge. We actually ate half and ate the other half later. Yummy. I chatted with present owner, delightful owner for 22 years. I think previous deli was Zigmond's Deli. All the local people including Paul D Screiber high school students eat here.Highly recommend this local establishment.
