One hour before our reservation time on Christmas Eve, we received a phone call cancelling the reservation. Employee who called said there was a broken pipe and was suspiciously upbeat unsympathetic and wouldn't provide any additional information. My suspicions were previously aroused that something was awry because earlier that day I had received messages from resy asking me to confirm the reservation for the wrong day. I hadn't made the reservation on resy. When I called the restaurant to ask what was going on, I wasn't given a satisfactory explanation. I won't be patronizing this restaurant in the future.
Came in to dine one day, and didn’t catch welcoming vibes; so I left.

The best sliders I ever had. Revolutionary charm, warm and inviting. Was staying at the Beekman's Delamater for a couple nights to attend thanksgiving buffet. A bit pricey but good.

Good place for lunch during the holidays. Town is very festive and Beekman Arms is right in the middle of town. Food and service were great. The tavern is well decorated and very historic.
We stopped in for a drink and some food at the bar. A few odd things happened before we were actually turned away. The bar was full when my friend and I arrived, she snagged two seats right when two people left - it took a while for the bartender to clear the old glasses and acknowledge us. We were planning to get food as well which took a while to get menus. No one working greeted us. I had a tea in my hand from a local bakery that I was finishing and when the bartender noticed her delivery on not having outside beverages was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional as earlier their were children sitting at the bar taking up seats. I’ve never been turned away at a bar or service because of a cup she could have kindly just threw away. Very weird experience and overall unpleasant enough to not return or recommend.

Our family gets together at the Beekman Arms a couple times a year to share a meal and catch up. We love this place! The service is always terrific - polite and professional. The food is consistently delicious. Book a table in the Garden Greenhouse - it is a lovely, open, sunlit space. Highly recommended!
This is a lovely historic restaurant, very atmospheric. The food is ok. Not inspired . For the second year, the service could not have been less friendly and attentive. Every thing was a problem for them . Yes, it was a busy weekend, but that's their currency. We won't be putting up with the attitude and disinterest again — I'll get a slice of pizza somewhere instead , sadly.
I was very excited to eat here with my friends from out of town, speaking it sounded AMAZING. I was so wrong. We ordered food 3 separate times because it kept coming to us cold, like rock solid cold. Once the main meal came, it looked horrendous. I feel so sick after eating that as well. I couldn’t even finish it. It tasted weird, and it was just overall so nauseating. Not to mention the bathroom smells awful. I couldn’t spend more than 5 minutes in there! It was disgusting. The server we had was amazing and very sweet, and clearly the food was not her fault. The server, sadly, was the only good part of our experience. Would not want to eat here ever again..

Service and Ambiance were excellent, however my lunch was way, way overboard. I love salads, so the Arugula Salad looked very tempting. When it came out, it was covered, and I mean covered, in apples, whole walnuts, many chunks of gorganzola and cranberries. Did I already say COVERED? It was drenched in the balsamic vinegar. I got through about a 1/4 of it, started scraping the gorganzola, walnuts, cranberries aside and ate a few leaves of the arugula salad.
This salad could have been a winner, I recommend the chef reconsider the amount of toppings or else it will seem like a granola bowl with balsamic vinegar & gorganzola chunks. The rest of my table seemed very satisfied with their lunch and desserts. Sorry.....
