Beautiful. The food was delicious. My cousin and I took our Moms here for mother's day. Add this to the list of Gems in NY

This restaurant is my number one site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. everytime I feel like having a delicious supper, this restaurant comes right away to my head. good and many types of food and a rich cuisine.courteous staff, and nice mood. Not less important, the expence is reasonable. I sent my friends to this restaurant with no hesitation.

We did not stay in the hotel. We ate at the restaurant. Service was impeccable and room lovely! Food was very tasty. However, the duck was very over cooked. Should have been pink.

Fabulous brunch in a beautiful setting. Two dining rooms and a speakeasy bar. I am partial to the atrium, especially during the day. The view of the farm is beautiful and the glass provides an abundance of light. The main dining room is nice and cozy and the evening and there are tables outside although I have never been there when they were in use.

Had our wedding here and booked the entire place for us and our guests. The staff was super accommodating and the rooms were very nice. The suite was HUGE and gives a great old fashioned feel with full views of the property. The food was beyond amazing and our guests could not have been happier! There is an old fashioned speakeasy in the basement tied to the history of the property that is a working bar with a great atmosphere to hangout. The property is also phenomenal for photo ops, can’t say enough good things about this place!

I believe I'm a tough critic but in one word... INCREDIBLE!!!!! Jedediah Hawkins was more than I expected. The venue is interesting & if you plan to dine here, do the research about it. We waited at the bar. Small, busy, yet served on in reasonable time frame.Friendly patrons so that was a positive as well. The meal.. WOW!! Normally I don't eat bread prior to the meal. Don't PASS THIS UP!!! I assume it's baked on premises. It is served warm, is crusty on the outside & moist & delicious on the inside. The butter was beyond any adjectives I own. The server pointed out sea salt on the table to add. I did. My wife was teasing me because I was making audible sounds of ecstasy. I also I had an arugula & beet salad. Good. My entree was halibut. A plentiful portion served with a corn confit. Remarkable. We passed on dessert because we were completely satisfied & could eat no more. I did, however , spy a few on other tables & they looked great.

Fantastic service and decent food. Really pretty venue inside and out. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

We had an amazing meal at Jedediah Hawkins restaurant last night. We ate on the stunning patio. It was the perfect ambiance. We shared a bunch of starters, including the duck wings, pork belly buns and the flatbread. One was better than the next. We loved the crispy duck and the blackened ribeye. We will definitely be coming back.

Dissapointing. Requested a quiet table a week in advance for our anniversary and were seated next to a party of 12 celebrating a 30th birthday which was extremely loud and literally screaming and cursing across the table. We were told that we should have booked in the main dining room. Sorry, I didn't know that one part of this upscale restaurant basically had the ambiance of a diner. Waitress was apologetic and comped a drink for each of us and moved our table to a corner of the room which made the noise slightly more tolerable. Food was okay, not worth the price. We won't be back.

Wonderful place to spend our Anniversary. The staff is so welcoming. Everything is too shelf to the last little detail especially the radiant heat in the bathroom. We will definitely be back.

We happened upon this Inn after being disappointed in our arrival at another hotel in the area.

This was our second time dining here and they did not disappoint. We were able to dine on the patio on a beautiful August evening, perfect setting. The service was excellent. All in the group were extremely happy with their choices. I had the Coconut Shrimp appetizer which were a nice size and delicious and the Short Ribs with summer succotash was as tender as could be. While a little pricey, the overall dining experience makes it well worth.

Wonderful food. We only stopped for coffe and desert. We order sorbet and coffee. Sorbet was made on the spot. Excellent!

After a year of searching for the”perfect” destination for my daughter’s wedding, we found this amazing experience on Long Island’s north fork. This was so much more than a “place for a wedding”. From the first time we met with Leah who is the primary owner and operator who was gracious, kind and informative to the numerous times we had to “visit” to make sure it was “right” we always had a very pleasant time and the staff was incredibly engaging. This is an old, think 1800’s ship captains home, that was restored to accommodate 200 people which includes a beautiful barn where the wedding takes place, and a charming ship captains domicile with many rooms for additional entertaining space, not to mention the adorable

There is no doubt but that dinner at Jedediah Hawkins’ fine restaurant is a five star experience. The food is exquisite. The service is impeccable. The venue is extraordinary. All was lovely!\n\nOne of the things that impressed me the most is the management and the staff are truly eager to please, while providing an excellent value for the food/experience and not, as all too many restaurants do, trying to squeeze every last nickel out of you. Case in point, rather than selling you a ridiculously overpriced $12 bottle of sparkling water, you are asked if you would like complimentary flat or sparkling water. Carafes are then brought, and refilled, as needed. How very refreshing for a high end restaurant, and how very respectful of the restaurant’s clientele. \n\nDo go. Do enjoy!

Beautiful Inn with excellent breakfast and dinner. Super service and attention to details.

We spent 2 nights at the Inn and we are repeat guests. Upgraded to the suite and had dinner there as well. Restaurant is truly delicious. You will not find a better breakfast either! \nEveryone is top- notch and the place is gorgeous. It is a peaceful quiet oasis. \nProperty Manager Colin makes you feel like your part of the family. No request is too big or too small!\nDo not miss a chance to stay here if your on the North Fork!!

A beautifully restored 150 year old home has been transformed into an inn and restaurant. Open for dinner during the week and brunch and dinner on weekends, their speak easy basement dining area is also a great place to have a meal. The main dining rooms are beautifully appointed and they have expanded another dining area,\nThe solarium, which is airy and looks out onto the grounds.\nThe staff is friendly, professional and efficient. They were very accommodating with our vegetarian and gluten free dietary issues. The yellow gazpacho soup was delicious as was the beet hummus. The burrata, nestled upon a bed of greens, was tasty and the potato gnocchi with fresh sautéed mushrooms was delicious.\nThe kitchen accommodated my chocolate fix by satisfying my request for\nchocolate sauce for the flourless chocolate cake- heaven! Thank you for another delicious meal. Go early if want a quiet intimate experience.

I was extremely disappointed in our dining experience at Jedediah Hawkins. I've reached out twice to JH and nobody has responded for 3 days. The ambiance was nice and we were seated immediately. It was our anniversary (which was noted on the reservation and never mentioned) and with young children we never get to dine out so we were really looking forward to it. Besides numerous menu items unavailable, it took an hour in between courses, and the service was unexpectedly poor. Our waiter stretched over us several times to see how the couple at the table behind us was and then rushed off without acknowledging us. Another large table behind us received their meals quickly and received a lot of attention. When the waiter finally came to ask how our meal was (someone else had brought it out) we were basically done. He cleared our plates and accidentally poked me in the arm with a saucey fork and then dropped it on my arm. He said he was going to get club soda for my white sweater and then never came back to even check on us. One of our meals was served with a different side and we were told the original side would be out in a moment - it never showed. I'm sad that I had been looking forward to this and now I can't recommend JH restaurant to anyone for fear of the same experience. I initially did not post on social media as I wanted to give management the opportunity to respond without splashing in public.

Went to a great wedding there. Food was good for cocktail hour. Dinner was good. Portion size a little small. Tables were crammed in there, almost impossible to move around.

Just a really nice restaurant. If you want an uncomplicated but high end dining experience, this is it

My sister and my Mom went for an overnight stay for a Mother's Day/ sisters birthday. It was a WOW! We pretty much had the place to ourselves. Sister stayed in the Belvedere suite, she's a lover of luxe! I had the sage room and Mom took the rose room. We all loved our rooms. They were clean, comfy, and beautiful! The staff was great, there for anything we needed but we felt like the place was ours. Beautiful grounds, very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed drinks outside and then had dinner later. I really don't think there is anything else like it on LI. We think we might have to make it an annual stay! Since we stayed overnight we got a complimentary breakfast, which was delicious!

Food and atmosphere was fantastic. Went there on a rainy day for dinner after visiting some wineries. Our table was right next to the fire place; perfect for a cold damp day.

This place is amazing every time I go there. I love the atmosphere and the staff. The speakeasy downstairs is such a cool spot and I also love sitting in the gazebo after dinner with a glass of wine. There is only one complaint I have and that is that I called multiple times to try to book a small function (rehearsal dinner) there for October. I have left about 5 messages now and sent 3 emails over the last 1.5 months and I still have yet to hear anything back...

My husband and I stayed at this lovely renovated inn for two nights. We were on the top floor the Cocoa Suite...lots of space with a very comfortable bed and bath. Colin was a very gracious host & personally prepared breakfast and dinner for us! We enjoyed delicious meals and he also gave us lots of suggestions of what to do and see in this beautiful area of NY. We highly recommend this inn and hope to make it back very soon
