All the dishes were so delicious. Enough heat to mean it, but not so much my eyes watered. I love Ethiopian coffee and this was perfect. Thank you, Chef for a great night and your kind hospitality.

Never fails to satisfy cravings for Ethiopian food. The best comfort food. We always get the Addis Special, but if craving something on the side, the lentil samosa is great! The owners are the BEST!

Absolutely fantastic food in generous portions. The owner made sure we had a lovely time and even brought out a traditional Ethiopian stringed instrument and played a few measures for us. There is a sign that says they offer a vegetarian buffet during the week. No I am a huge fan of Ethiopian food and my only regret is that I’m just passing through and will only have one more chance to eat there again before we leave.Vegetarian options: Since many Ethiopians are Coptic Christians, they embrace many vegetarian dishes for religious reasons. You’ll find many selections from appetizers to Entrees.

Really awesome find!! The food was fantastic, the kitfo was superb, Shiro wet a big hit, and the spice level was perfect (we asked for spicy and got spicy :) The vibe was super nice, chill music, the people were super friendly and welcoming, on the finer side of casual, light and airy atmosphere with cool decor. 11/10 recommend.Vegetarian options: Lots of great vegetarian (and vegan) options, shiro wet chickpea stew (my absolute fave), collard greens, cabbage and carrots, tomato salad, and more!

I went here with my dad after a friend suggested it to us. Our server was very nice and even gave us a suggestion for their special. It had beef, chicken, and lamb and came with 4 vegetarian sides. We got green beans, potato stew, lentils, and cabbage. That dish was only $30 and we had plenty of leftovers! We also ordered the Sambusa appetizer that was to die for. I highly recommend this place and will be coming again.

Very relaxed minimalist type of restaurant. Came in here for a quick bite today and had a good experience. The food had really nice soft flavors nothing too crazy. And the portion sizes were very generous for the price you pay. Now when I say soft flavors I do say that because it feels like it wasn't as seasoned as some of the other places that I might have been to out of town like down in DC which is considered the Ethiopian food capital of the states. It's really hard to not come across a really good Ethiopian spot down there. I like my food a little more on the spicier side so I wish that could have been played with a little bit. And maybe it can but I never did ask on the spice level of everything I usually just go with however it is served right off of the menu unless they ask. But the staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs and answered any questions that we had. There is also a store right next door that is part of the restaurant where you can buy spices and such. Overall if you are craving Ethiopian food and you're in the area definitely stop by and give this place a shot.Parking: There aren't really any marked parking spots but the lot is a decent size and you pretty much just park however you seem fit

Winter Day

Tried this place for special occasion, and they did not disappoint! The injera seemed a little mild when we visited, and the veg sampler was not as spicy as we expected, but everything was still satisfyingly wholesome and hearty and they were not stingy at all with the injera. <3 Upside to the mildness is, it seems safe for parties where any one gots low piquance tolerance. ;)Their veg sampler features six popular wots we see at almost every Ethiopian restaurant we been to: split pea, spicy (but not piquant here) red lentil, collards, cabbage & carrot, green bean & carrot, and big chunky potato. (ater, yemisr, gomen, tikil gomen, fesolia, and dinech) Our party's favo part here was the yemisr wot. One of our party also got one of the cooked beef dishes, and it was also delicious. On our visit on a Saturday evening, staff were real friendly, service was great, and the atmosphere was real mellow and chill. For those traveling by personal vehicle, there is some parking adjacent to the building reserved for patrons, and on our party's visit there was space- but we didn't see painted lines, so we imagine some days it fills inefficiently. We didn't see van accessible space, but other than possibility of parking running out of space for a van, it seems wheelchair-accessible due to lack of steps up or down? The attached store also has some spices we don't yet know where else to find elsewhere locally, like berbere! \o/

Amazing food and wonderful Chef and FOH! My husband and I had the Addis Special and our friends had a Chicken dish with a Veggie Platter. Everything was beautifully flavored and paired with special bread. We also tried the Ethiopian coffee which was dark and rich, My friend enjoyed her Spiced Tea. The spices helped my circulation and were the first thing that helped me feel warmth in my fingers and toes this season!
