I don't live in NY my mother does, and every time I visit her, we have to go to Bagel Land and bring some back with us to Florida because holy god, are they good. We bring a separate backpack just to bring back and freeze bagels. There is no other bagel place for me that don't make them like they do.

I’m not one to leave a review for a business, let alone a bad one. However, the way I was just treated by the older woman with grey hair and glasses toasting bagels was appalling. She was incredibly rude to the other woman (Jessica) working the counter with her and then when I went up she was questioning me on why I get my bagel a certain way in a very rude and condescending way. I really love the bagels but will never return solely because of how that woman just treated me.

She had the nerve to call me cheap to my face!It took everything in my power not to cause a scene in there this morning. I will never go back!!Vegetarian options: Don't come the staff is rude.

WHY does the owner of this business think it’s ok to have a staff member continually abuse customers?? (read all the reviews about their staff).The older woman who works there is mentally unwell and incredibly rude. I was disrespected today and have seen others (including co-workers) disrespected by this woman. I am now unable to deal with this kind of behavior from her. I enjoyed their bagels, but since the owner apparently cares more for just making money then having customers treated respectfully I will not be coming back- they deserve to go out of business!

I cannot believe that the owner still employs the gray haired woman with glasses. My 60 year old wife has repeatedly been treated horribly by this woman as have many others looking at these reviews. We will NOT be going back here even though the bagels are. very good. The owner is showing very little respect for our community by continuing to let this woman treat multiple people in this VERY unacceptable manner.

I’ve been coming here for over 40 years and it’s the best bagel in town by far! Gotta try the “Bagel Dog” for a delicious zweigels hot dog encased in a chewy plain bagel with or without cheese! What a great invention! You’ll always get a true “Bakers Dozen” here too with 13 bagels per dozen. A wonderful family business with a lot of smiles and delicious bagels! Love this place, definitely recommend!
I have been a bagel land customer for years and years The Bagels are wonderful. Unfortunately the woman who works at the counter is awful. She is rude, nasty and unprofessional. I had to nearly intervene in an altercation she created with a customer she verbally abused. Today she was verbally abusive to a female customer in line ahead of me and then to me personally. I love Joe, the owner. He is a great guy. The bagels are great. But no more bagel land for me. Alas.

I was in Saturday morning waiting in line to get served, when a customer a few people in front of me was berated by the counter woman. Older, gray hair, with glasses.The customer ahead of me just asked if one of her bagels could be placed in a separate bag, come to find out she had a child with a FOOD ALLERGY. The employee kept going on about the bags “costing Joe money” and saying “you know there’s a line” instead of just supplying an extra bag that would’ve took 5 seconds.It’s actually insane to me that she’s still employed here; since reading multiple similar reviews about her.
