This is my favorite Chinese place

We must not have had the experience everyone else had. We ordered a duck meal and it was filled with bone chips. This wasn't a matter of trying to eat off of a boney piece, there were bone chips all throughout the dish. We couldn't even get through the vegetables from that plate without biting into small bone bits. It was like eating a seafood pasta but with sand in every single bite, even when it was just a random noodle. It's too bad because the flavor was good. Imagine ordering a $20 omelette and every bite had a shell in it. That's what this was.

I used to live in Nanjing China and I have been in search of the foods that I loved there. We had mapo tofu, dry roasted string beans, eggplant, cumin lamb, kao yu, and sesame chicken for our less adventurous member of our group. All the food was delicious and made me feel like I was back in China. The staff is friendly and attentive. The fish was on the blander side, that was our least favorite item. The string beans are to die for as well as the eggplant. Everyone in the group loved those two. They have an extensive menu here, there's fun items like frog and familiar items like sesame chicken. Also lots of seating, I've never had to wait and they can accommodate large groups very easily. Recommend eating family style and sharing but you can also easily do your own thing as well.

The only chinese restaurant I visit regularly.

Service is good, and many varieties of food. Taste is good, but may fluctuate, and honestly speaking, it in general declined in the past year (used to be very good the 1st year this place opened). But portion is always generous, so it is still worth a try.

Dragon Palace hits all the marks for anyone looking for a great COVID take-out option. They have not reopened their dining room, so there is no issues with those looking to isolate and the on-line ordering worked seamlessly. Honestly, it was even better than my previous experiences ordering in the restaurant, as there are more detailed descriptions of the dishes. The real winner though is the food itself. It was a big step up from most of the Chinese take-out options in the area. We were looking for kid-pleasing things that would travel home well, so we went with steamed dumplings, chicken with garlic sauce, sesame chicken, and lo mien. The dishes were very flavorful and loaded with ingredients, even the lo mien, which can often be greasy and noodle heavy at many places. The only minor disappointment was the dumplings. They were a bit doughy, and not some of the best we've had, but it may have only been in comparison to the rest of the food, which was delicious.

Only been once, but it was a clean and friendly place with many options. Most of which are family style, so you share with a group. We ordered sesame chicken, eggplant, green beans and a fancy fish dish, all of which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Great place to go with friends or family for authentic Chinese experience

Gotta day this place is EXCELLENT. It's prob the best Chinese restaurant in all of Rochester. Mix in with an excellent ambience, a decent mixture of popular Americanized Chinese food n some very authentic Chinese dishes, this is def a place to hit. Can't believe it's connected to a mall. If they matched dish pictures to their menu, people would be braver n try out some of their more signature dishes. The scallion / ginger crab/lobster was delicious n soft. Worth the market price($45). Every dish was seasoned perfectly do you didn't need to add soy sauce to anything. Gotta hit this place for every b'day/event/boss dinners. :) I highly recommend! Service was spot on.

Just had to share about the Sesame chicken. I can't find a place in Rochester that i actually like, its usually terrible meat and flavor ins't right. This place makes really great sesame chicken that comes with a side of rice for about $11, whcih is totally worth it to me as the meat was legit and moist. Will get again. Service was great, and you can get Chinese tea at the table to share for no additional cost. They have improved a lot since they first opened.

I have no idea what these reviewers are talking about. Aside from the service, which is friendly, and the portions, which are large, this place is really bad. Dirty china, revolting chicken, greasy spring rolls, commercial sauces. A real disappointment.

What a nice place to eat! The food was plenty and delicious. The crab Rangoon is the first I have ever had with actual crab pieces in it. They say five pieces for an order. They gave us six. The beef and scallions was great. Enough for a second meal. Danger with the chicken dish my wife ate. She liked the food too. It was not expensive considering the amount they give you. We usually spend thirty on Chinese take out at a nearby resistant. This experience was pleasant and worth the expense.
