Equal grounds is legendary!I've explored a lot of this country, and this coffee shop has the most cozy, gentle atmosphere of any place I've ever been.

Great spot for coffee, lots of excellent teas, and simple but great breakfast sandwiches. The baked goods on offer were also delicious. Staff was very friendly and during our short stay in Rochester we popped in three separate times, always great!

Cool atmosphere, delicious coffee. The breakfast sandwich made your way was awesome. Egg, cheddar, and Canadian bacon on an everything bagel, yum!I just wish they didn't drop a sign on the table right in front of me that read, "This table reserved at 4pm"... at 3:30. There were no other empty seats so I was essentially kicked out. Not even the courtesy of speaking to me. Just a snide dropoff. I hate to say it, but that type insider treatment is hypocritical for a business so heavily influenced by equality and inclusion.Guess what? We all have the same DNA. Even customers that aren't personal friends with the staff.

It's a cute place for coffee, they're very welcoming. I had the hot chocolate which was just okay, but the place has good vibes. I like that they're open late on weekdays. If I lived close by I'd definitely be a regular.

Great atmosphere. Great food. Little bit salty my large shake wasn't filled to the top, but it was overall really good. Love the hot coco.

Pretty cool little place. I've only been once, with a group of friends to study, and we had a really nice time. It's a great cafe to chill and get some work done, and everything we ordered was really good! We definitely plan to come back, especially in June ;)

The staff are friendly, the egg sandwich on a croissant was absolutely delicious, and the coffee is top notch. Great atmosphere with a variety of seating options. Plenty of parking too!

Ever since I found equal grounds back in college I absolutely love it. Their seasonal specials are always amazing, the staff is always so welcoming, and the space is so inclusive. Since moving to the south wedge we often walk over with our dog! It's such a delight to have such a positive, welcoming business in the community. Oh and I can't forget all the delicious coffee, tea and baked goods! The fall Witches Brew is my favorite!

Just went there today for the first time. The coffee house was so comfy and cozy. Loved the board game section and of course the food and coffee were great too! Can't wait to go back. A true little gem in the neighborhood.

Excellent iced and hot coffee, friendly staff, cool atmosphere. Kind of slow service, if they had a 3rd person working it would have been better. Would definitely stop here again!

The staff was very friendly and the drinks were delicious. The Decor was homey, but it definitely needs some minor improvements such as fresh stain on the floor. Looks a bit shabby. Especially since the walls look recently painted. That aside, I love the subtle touches like the cute changing password for the WiFi and the tip suggestions. I think they should go all out with humour. Definitely a great safe haven for the lgbtq+ community. Must check it out if you’re visiting the area.

Service with a smile, coffee with a kick. This place is wonderful and truly a cozy place to lounge with dine in options and even take out for those on the go! It's truly a wonderful little place for a nice little pick-me-up, from the breakfast menu items to the dessert options, coffee, tea and chi. You will be impressed with the service and fall in love with this unique little coffee shop! Forget those pesky coffee chains, make this your new go to and you'll be happy you did!
