The food was very flavorful, and it was a good amount (we left full). The staff was very nice. I enjoyed the music they played. The menu has many choices. We will be back to try different things. Highly recommended!

Went to try west African food for the first time and was blown away by the incredible quality of service and food, generous portions of delicious food with a fun light atmosphere and a selection of regional beverages.

Everything was perfect!! When we walked in we were greeted with a friendly and welcoming smile. We sampled some food first before deciding what to order and everything was delicious! I got the fried plantains and chicken, and my fiancé got jollof rice and goat. The food was authentic, extremely flavorful, tender and perfectly juicy. The atmosphere was clean, friendly and fun, we definitely recommend! 😄

Kamara’s has been a go to for us since we first had it back in 2019 at their old location. Ordered 2x Jollof Rice w/ Chicken through DoorDash tonight, and only ended up receiving one. I tried calling our delivery driver, no answer. I called the restaurant and let them know what was going on. Although the fault was NOT on their end, they made us a fresh plate, and sent one of their drivers to drop it off to us even though we are outside of their delivery area. This is the only issue we have had with an order in our 6 years of eating here, and they truly went above and beyond for us. 10/10 service, and some of the most delicious food you will have. Cannot recommend them enough!!!

My favourite place to eat

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel like this needs to be shared — especially for parents. I ordered the potato greens, and unfortunately within hours, both my child and I got sick. We both had diarrhea, but my toddler had it multiple times in a day, and it was watery and green — which tells me the food was likely spoiled or improperly stored.

This isn’t to bash the business — I love supporting African cuisine and small restaurants — but food safety has to be taken seriously. If something’s not fresh, please don’t serve it. It’s not just about taste — people’s health is on the line.

I hope the owners see this as helpful feedback and take a closer look at their storage/prep process, because this could’ve been dangerous for a small child.

Ordered jollof rice with fried goat meat and plantains. Jollof rice had no taste to it, very bland. Fried goat meat was all bones and more of soup than meat. Plantains sogy

The guy behind the bar where you take your order sucks with customer service. He is dismissive and doesn’t know how to speak to the general public. We are not your friends, we are your customers who can become friends if the service is good. I asked for dine-in, he gave me to go in containers that weren’t sealed, nothing I wanted to purchase was on the menu. I think they need a woman server because he is not good at his job. I ordered friend beef, jallof rice and the pepper soup. It was good but service sucked. I’ll now go way less than anticipated just to avoid the server.

3x having African food, first 2x was the worst experience ever until I came her. This place definitely represented Now I crave them 😩 😫

Very good food. All the way from the ginger juice to the fufu egusi. We will Be ordering again. Thank you so much. 🙏🏽
