The excellent service and spectacular food are improving every day. The service is better now and the place is very clean. I ate an Ecuadorian flag, they didn't have guatita but they knew how to compensate me with a really delicious extra meat.

5:00 pm 9/22/24 I ordered two dinners. The waitress informed that the faucet water is brown and I should order bottled water. I shared that if the water is brown NYS regulations should be informed and the restaurant should be closed until they cure the situation . I cancelled my order of pescado encebillado. Waitress said that the fish was cooked this morning in clear water. I shared that’s even worse because it is not freshly cooked but leftover fish - again I stressed I did not want my order to and would pay only for the tostados con queso, fritada, coffee and batido and bottled water. I literally lost my appetite . Either (1)this waitress was pressing with compromised water unfit for consumption to manipulate more water bottles purchased or (2)the restaurant should be closed because with brown faucet water to cook and wash dishes it is unfit for the public -I’ll phone the management Monday for a response. This was a very unpleasant and embarrassing experience to invite my two guests to an Ecuadorian restaurant that I wanted to try for the first time .

Honestly, very disappointed with the food: I had to ask them to change the “naranjilla” juice since it had no flavor. The ceviche was tasteless, fish without flavor, the tostones were packaged and soft... they seemed old, we ate them because we were hungry; the meat was very tough; inedible seafood casserole, it was cold, tasteless and they wanted to charge us for it saying that we ate half of it when we barely tried it... we ordered a chicken SOUP and when all the dishes were already on the table they told us that there is none, so we They offered us a consommé as a courtesy… in the end they also wanted to charge us for it. When we asked to speak to the manager, the waitress did not want to call him so we had to insist. Finally the manager came and took the casserole and consommé off our bill. Despite everything, the rest of the dishes were acceptable, and the other juices too. The service was good and the manager was very friendly.
Note that the tip is included in the bill.

The waitresses want to play it cool by charging too much and they don't explain why, they're probably already used to doing that and since people don't realize it, they keep doing it and they still respond saying, if you want I'll call the boss's son... Bad service, you order something and they bring you something else and it's not the first time, they want to bring you whatever they want?
