Service via Everytime I visit Queens, I make it a point to visit Singh's to get some good, authentic Trini food. From what I recall, pre-Covid Singh's was a lively restaurant where soca played through the speakers, a variety of Islanders would be liming and enjoying the vibes, and there was trini food and snacks galore. From Trini Chinese fried chicken, to doubles, to pone, chubby, shandy, and everything else that you'd want to enjoy. Since my first visit, I've remained loyal to Singh's.My last visit this past weekend, I didn't have the time to get over to their location, so instead I ordered on UberEats, grimacing at the $6.99 delivery fee. I placed my order at 6:30 a.m., since they open at 6 a.m. and received my order within an hour, delivered by a very polite young man. The food was packed very well - there was no spillage which I was expecting from the curry.I ordered pholourie (which came with TWO tasty tamarind sauces), 2 doubles, and one boneless chicken dhal puri roti. Everything tasted just like I remembered it to be. I packed some to take back with me to COS to extend the pleasure of the meal. Still, there was minimal spillage of the curry throughout my flights, so that was a huge win.Singh's thank you for your authentic Trini cuisine. I look forward to visiting your establishment when I next return.

This is one of my favorite places to enjoy goat,chicken curry,& dhalpourri.The desserts of pineapple tarts,salara bread are so yummy.The staff is friendly & wonderful & the prices are very good.I love their food portions that are generously served in take out trays.I love the cream soda which is amazing! I called and placed orders for 1 tray of dhalpourri,chicken curry,chow mein,duck curry and roti.The foods were tasty,fresh and delicious.All my friends and family had extra foods to take home.My friends and family order foods every week for special events.

Today, 3/29/2024 I picked up 2 dalpourie skins from Singh’s. I took a picture of one of them. Tell me, I paid $3.50 for this. Part of the roti is missing. I should get some money back right!!! People please check your roti before you leave the store. In this day and age this is quite unacceptable. You’re patronizing a business that doesn’t give a damn about what is served to you.Update. The owner reached out and apologized.

No no no!!! This is not the Singhs I would speak so highly of, this is not the singhs I would drive from the Bronx to come and eat, and this is definitely not the singh’s I would spend my money on!! Absolutely no flavor, I never bite into a dhalpourie wrap with mango and curry chicken and taste nothing , no flavor. I ordered stew pork and it “longgg with water” it look like they just boil the pork it barely brown properly. I don’t know if they chef left them or they decide to cheapen their ingredients but yall lost a very loyal customer. Tonight I introduced a woman from Honduras to our food and decided to take her singhs she wanted noodle with Chinese style chicken and I was embarrassed when she said it have no flavor. She wanted to use the tamarind sauce to eat her food and Im thinking well maybe she doesn’t know what good food taste like until I ate my meal and I was highly embarrassed?????. So sad

I've never had any food from here that I did not like and I'm very particular about what I eat. Not only is the food really good, they give good portions and the prices are fair. My absolute favorite is the stewed pork on a double with chickpeas, shadowbenny and tamarind sauce. 10/10 recommend! The staff is cool and the atmosphere is really laid back. They have a bar inside but I've never dined in. They also have a seating area, but the restaurant is mostly good for takeout. My mouth is watering just thinking about all of the delicious food there as I write my review! lol

Great vibes in this place, hindi caribbean beats were blaring, and people starting early with the rum. Went for a chola roti, well spiced and very tasty, and affordable!
