This review is for the holiday Cake Pop Up and although the review is long overdue, I couldn’t let it pass without sharing how wonderful the cakes were. I first discovered Agnes when she had her wonderful tea room in New Paltz. I went regularly and it was always amazing. I was sad when she moved on to catering but luckily she does pop ups. For the holidays I ordered her famous Bee cake and her amazing Buche de Noel. Agnes’s attention to detail and commitment to using fresh, organic ingredients truly sets her apart. The flavors were vibrant, natural, and perfectly balanced not overly sweet, just the right touch to let the quality ingredients shine. The texture was moist and light, and each bite felt like it was crafted with care and love. Not only were the cakes delicious, but they were also beautifully presented. The artistry in the decoration showed Agnes passion and talent, making them a stunning centerpiece for our holiday. If you’re looking for cakes that taste as good as they look, with wholesome, organic ingredients and a personal touch, I would highly recommend and while I’ve never had the chance to use her catering services I imagine the food is outstanding.

Although I have not used Agnes' catering services, I know her food well having been a frequent guest at her former restaurant and over the years ordering her baked items including multiple Bûche De Noël and Honeybee cakes. Every bite of her food is delicious and impeccably presented. She is an amazing person and creates a beautiful and comfortable atmosphere along with fantastic food. She once shared her recipe for the restaurant chicken pot pie and it's such a simple and delicious mix of flavors it has been my make-ahead favorite dinner for guests for years. Everyone always loves it. You won't find better than Agnes and her team for your special event.
