The quality has gone down , this use to be my go to place on the island and the last few times I've gotten the eggplant parm ,chicken parm was tasteless and the rice ball and potatoes croquettes pure garbage the only thing I would ho inthere is the cold cuts and the meats when you first walk in. Don't buy any prosciutto bread or olive bread taste old and dry.

It was so much better when Benny was alive! The older woman & most of the girls are always nasty, for NO reason!

Best of the best right here. I grew up directly across the street and our family were regulars from 77 onward. We moved South in the mid-90s but have always made it a point to stop by and grab what we miss the most about Staten Island. The DeRosa family was always great to us and we wish them continued growth, health, and

Fresh pasta and meats are excellent. Unfortunately they no longer know how to cut cold cuts properly. It's nearly impossible to separate the thin shreds they make of otherwise good quality meats and cheeses. I let them know and nothing changes.

The BEST flattened thin chicken cutlets. If you like super thin cutlets, this is where to go!!!

I live in Arizona and come visit my family as often as possible. A trip to NY without me stopping here for my favorite foods to bring home is not possible. One of my favorite places to get food from!

We have close friends who are from the area and recently they brought us back some amazing pastas and sauces which we’ve been using to make some excellent Italian dinners. Their gnocchi is fluffy and has a perfect texture! Their marinara and pesto sauces were both incredible! But a fav of ours so far has been their stuffed shells… absolutely amazing! We highly recommend giving them a try, whether you get it via mailorder or stop in a shop and get some frozen to go – GET SOME!!!This was the particular location we got our food from and we thoroughly enjoyed it all!

Growing up Eltingville/Staten Island was great. We could easily walk thru the dairy dell trails from our home to get to town of eltingville where the stores are. I look back and truly wouldn’t wanted it any other way except when it got muddy after the rain lol. We had all wonderful stores and was super convenient to get to. Pastosa Ravioli was a super highlight especially when my parents would go, it was like seeing family. Mom and Dad there were always available for any specialty we needed.Til this day they slightly changed only for the better by expanding with additional square footage to have additional traditional food, which makes its only more convenient. The Family who owns and runs the store are and always has been the best of the best when it came to customer service, super friendly & helpful. They truly have whatever you need to make an awesome sunday meal to an amazing barbecue. Honestly What's not to like about a store full of fresh pastas, breads, and mozzarella! They carry oven baked bread which is brought in daily. Mozzarella/Mutz is fresh and homemade and is excellent . There is also a deli counter with Boars Head meats and pre-made meals. After reading through the specialty sandwiches on the board I didn't find one that I didn’t liked. I asked to make a sandwich, and the guys working the counter were super friendly and got us a capicola, sopressata, prosciutto and mutz and it was one of the best sandwiches l've ever had.I got some pancetta and ground beef and made awesome meatballs going along their fresh Ravioli’s, small square, or big round. The The price was very fair. Italian rainbow pre-packed cookies were also very good, they had milk chocolate which was different and super yummy. Thanks again to the DeRosa’s for running a very fine establishment.
