Got there early enough to be seated without reservation although if .ore then 2 in group reservations a must. Try the scones freshly baked especially loved the chocolate chip. Comes w Raspberry jam and butter on side. Tried the white Raspberry tea and the white peach delicious. Sandwiches served on fresh breads w salad a nice touch. Preferred the chicken salad over the slightly over salted Tuna sandwich. Try the high tea menu $45 pp but worth the cost served w little finger sandwich bites and pastries. The service is excellent. Returning w friends again soon.

Went for afternoon tea for 2. $45 per person with a triple tier platter of food with enough food for a full meal and a soup or salad. The list of tea is huge. The food was great and the atmosphere is just perfect. The coconut cocoa tea was amazing!! Once you get to the top tier you'll be too full to eat the huge chocolate covered strawberries. You have to try this place out if you haven't been there already!!

My sister, niece, and I had the MOST WONDERFUL lunch today at Robinson’s Tea Room. We had been there many, many times over the years under the past management. We were hoping it would be just as lovely under the new management. We needn’t have worried. We were blown away! Our experience today exceeded all expectations. From the warm, cozy tea, to the delicious sandwiches, to the scrumptious cinnamon scones, we couldn’t have been happier. Our kind, personable waitress Kayla should be commended for her impeccable service and attention to detail. We wanted for nothing. Thank you so much for such a truly beautiful experience. We promise we will be back….with more people in tow!

Absolutely delicious afternoon tea service - the best we’ve ever had. I love the traditional “British Tea Time”presentation of the food on standing towers, the beautiful china tea cups, and the fun themed decor. The food is amazing, everything is a good portion, and the scones are to die for. The staff is excellent, very timely and attentive, and so warm. It is a relaxing, inviting, and enjoyable atmosphere. You can try many teas with your afternoon tea service which makes for such a fun time! Highly recommend this awesome place!

Probably the friendliest staff I've ever had at a restaurant. The woman who served us was super friendly and willing to accommodate any allergy we may have had. The unlimited tea was amazing and the tower was super tasty. I was surprisingly stuffed with how much food they gave us. If you haven't already I would definitely come here.

I've been here a few times. I'm told it's now under new ownership. The food is delicious. The servers are friendly. The atmosphere is adorable. It is always an enjoyable experience. I'm going back soon. I highly recommend trying this place out. I wouldn't recommend bringing little children. It's for adults . It's not a large place, very quaint .

Lovely. Atmosphere is intimate and inviting in a quaint shopping center. We did the tea service and all of the food and tea were very good with generous amounts. We would return for the quiche alone.

Was sad to hear they closed, but they've since reopened, was wondering if it would be as good as it used to, well guess what? It's even better!!! New owners are super welcoming, sweet as can be. I honestly have never had a scone this good! I overheard a customer asking and they make them there. OMG delicious. I chose an orange cranberry. It was so moist & buttery, just filled with flavor, the best I ever ate, ever. I know I keep saying it, but it really was! It came with clotted cream & raspberry jam, it was perfect . I paired it with rose petal black tea. I felt like I was in the Cotswolds!!!! Absolutely loved it!

What a fabulous place for afternoon tea in Stony Brook. Extensive selection of teas and the sandwiches and pastries were all fantastic. The staff was particularly helpful. The host noticed we were chilly from an overhead A/C and turned it down without our asking Our waiter checked in on us regularly.

I really enjoyed this spot! It's a really cute British tea spot in the Stony Brook area. We ate outside and the waiter was very friendly and waited on us outside. The service was also pretty fast.I got the cinnamon scone with clotted cream and raspberry jam that I really enjoyed. The scones came in 3 other flavors. I also got the peppermint green tea they served to go which was great so we could leave when we were done eating. The tea selection is vast and I definitely plan on coming again to have that delicious scone again and try a different tea.

Upon opening my British Box for one, there was neither clotted cream nor raspberry jam included with my scone. Also, I did not get the chicken salad on a croissant, all of which are listed on the menu in the description. Instead, there were only 3 finger sandwiches. Also, The baked goods were uninspired and not fresh. The scone was terribly tough. The atmosphere is in desperate need of a deep clean and a remodel. I do not recommend this poorly ran establishment.
