Love Delmonico's! We always have a great time. I love the filet marsala with angel hair. Skip the fried mozzarella appetizer šŸ˜… The antipasto is out of this world. Standard drink menu. Best bread and homemade butter šŸ’›šŸ„–šŸ§ˆ Friendly service each time. A regular stop for us for all occasions.

Delmonico’s Steakhouse, Syracuse, NY

While there’s no official mocktail menu at Delmonico’s, the bartender didn’t let that stop them. I ended up with a fizzy blend of grapefruit, peach purĆ©e, and orange juice, bright, effervescent, and far more thoughtful than the usual off-menu attempt. A pleasant surprise, especially in a place where the drinks lean heavily toward the classics.

The shrimp cocktail arrived looking textbook, plump, chilled shrimp over a bit of lettuce, but it’s the cocktail sauce that really steals the show. Zesty, tangy, with just enough horseradish heat to catch your attention. Honestly, if they bottled it, I’d be walking out with a case. It brought back the nostalgic zing of my favorite coastal seafood shack’s signature blend.

Then came the small ciabatta loaf with a generous side of herbed butter. Simple? Yes. But undeniably comforting. It’s the kind of bread service that sets a tone, warm, soft, and clearly made with care.

Now, let’s talk about the heavyweight, the one-pound lasagna. A towering stack of pasta, ricotta, beef, and sausage smothered in a marinara that could hold its own against any red-sauce joint. Rich without being overwhelming, and seasoned to that just-right sweet spot between hearty and refined.

Finally, a shoutout to Mari, my server, gracious, attentive, and the kind of presence that elevates a meal from good to memorable. If you find yourself at Delmonico’s, ask for her. You’ll be in good hands.

Went tonight with our 3 kids and made a 6:15 reservation. 6:50 they still hadn't sat us. Our kids are excellent in restaurants but part of that is because we know their limits. They still weren't close to seating us, so we left. I understand waiting for a few minutes past the reservation, but 35+ is excessive. No one ever approached us to address it either, which would've gone a long way.

Hello, From the moment we arrived at your restaurant we were promptly seated after a short wait for our booked reservation. As requested, our table was located away from noise and foot traffic. My hubby and I was pleased for the focused attention to accommodate our request. Thank you ā£ļøšŸ’Æ Of course, as always what we ate was ā€œthe bombā€. šŸ’£ It would not be me if I did not take the opportunity to mention two valuable facts about your establishment. 1. Our Waitress, I believe her name was ā€œMaraā€ ... sorry I not sure I heard name correctly ....... she definitely had a positive and professional attitude! It was watching her serve at various table with attentiveness to her customers! Good customer service and sound job experience was clearly demonstrated. It's my opinion, good service can sometimes outweigh a product therefore, good service makes a difference ALL THE TIME! 2. I ordered dirty martini (vodka) with two plain olives. Well, OMG! Whoever made my drink should get an award. To date, it was the ā€œbest dirty martiniā€ I've had. It was mixed well with great balance and very smooth!! Thank you for the great service. We will be back. Sorry for writing a book. šŸ˜„ Happy Thanksgiving to Delmonico's Restaurant Team!

Delicious food and great service. My husband and I went here for his birthday and we both enjoyed it. Our special birthday request for him was fulfilled perfectly. He enjoyed the main course as well as his desert. My favorite food was the Utica greens and mushrooms. Price was reasonable. The decor including crystal chandaliers is beautiful. You have the choice of sitting at table or in a booth. We will remember his perfect birthday dinner and hope to return soon.

The meal and experience was as expected from this location's advertisements and promotions. Even with a reservation there was a 30 minute wait to get seated. Staff were great and the meal came out quickly. Ensure to make a reservation before showing up. It is the best way to get a table quickly and helps the venue setup things better.

The food was fantastic, waitress was attentive and pleasant, the restaurant was busy and the wait time still was not bad at all. Overall very pleased. It was a wonderful date night. I would recommend to anyone and we can't wait to go back.

We had a 6:00 reservation because we had an 8:00 movie. We got there and there was a line of people to be seated and we waited 42 minutes before we got a table. I asked the receptionist what the hold up was and she curtly replied ā€œthere's a few reservations in front of you.ā€ This was at 6:25. We ended up missing the movie, the manager seated us and told us he'd ā€œtake care of usā€ Nothing happened and we missed our movie. Date night was destroyed by Delmonico's. I'm never recommending this place and will avoid it in the future. How are these guys on open table? They don't deserve to have open table sponsor them

My group of three shared an ample platter of bruschetta as an appetizer. The crust was soft and moist, and the topping had a little bit of a sweet taste to it that made it very enjoyable. There was plenty to go around for three, and we even ended up taking some of it home later. As my main course, I had the portobello mushroom nine-ounce filet, which was cooked perfectly to my request. The crust was very tender and had a nice side dish of angel hair pasta with some garlic sauce. Overall, the food was great, and my guests commented that the dishes that they had were exceptional.

We dined for dinner on 10/25. Food was excellent and hot. Martinis are over priced at $15.95 and not very good. Wait staff were dressed up for Halloween. Most of the costumes were not what I'd want my young children looking at and gave an overall unprofessional feel. Felt like I was in a night club and not an Italian restaurant.

Made a reservation on OpenTable but it was not a reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant, it just put us on a waitlist no different from anyone just showing up without a reservation. We waited almost an hour to be seated. Not sure why OpenTable is allowing this restaurant to operate this way.

Truly a world-class steak house. Every aspect of the ambience and professionalism of the servers and most importantly is the exceptional steaks and accompaniments.

Our table was ready upon our arrival. Our waitress arrived within minutes and our water glasses were delivered shortly there after. Our drinks took awhile to arrive but our entrees were delivered as ordered within twenty minutes. Our food was prepared and presented very well. After our dinner, our server surprised us with a complimentary dessert in honor of our anniversary! We will be back.

Everything about this restaurant was fantastic except having to wait 45 minutes with a reservation.

We had an 8 pm reservation booked thru OpenTable on Saturday night of Syracuse Family Weekend. We arrived on time, but when we checked in, the hostess stated that reservations booked online were not guaranteed for that time, rather reduce the walk-in time by about 50%. The walk-in wait time was over 90 min. Clearly, this didn't make us happy from the get go. We ordered drinks at the bar, and after speaking to the manager a few times, was finally seated 50 min later. This reservation process is completely unacceptable and we'll never eat here again. We dined with other sorority families and everyone in our party shared this unfortunate dining experience with the other sorority house families. The manager did apologize for the wait and our server was excellent, but ultimately, this didn't make things better since it made us late for our after dinner plans. Please do better Delmonico's!
