Love love love this place! I don’t get to go here nearly as often as I would like. The staff is incredible, flavor syrups are all homemade and delicious. Such a unique place and truly a hidden gem of Syracuse. 10/10 would recommend!

Best and coziest coffee shop in downtown Syracuse!!! I absolutely love the coffee, especially my new favorite espresso spritzer, and I feel at home relaxing in the cozy space Nicole and Kayla have created. I really appreciate the friendly environment and opportunity to peruse the cute vintage items at Nectar, as well as shop at the other stores in the McCarthy Mercantile. I couldn't have found a better place to fulfill my caffeine and vintage needs. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I love Nectar, the owners are both so friendly, the vintage goods are great to look at and buy and the drinks are top notch. The thing I like the most is that they’ve made it a point to work to build their community up and make their place feel like a good place to spend an hour or two. I find myself hanging out there on lunch and after work. Yarn club nights on Thursday have become the best night of the week for me.

One of my favorite spots downtown! The gals who own it are welcoming and make delicious home made syrups!

Skip Starbucks. This small business is an absolute gem. Coffee is top notch, and atmosphere is perfect for casual work or meeting up with friends. Shop is filled with antiques and local art, all of which is for sale at reasonable prices. Great all around!

Really lovely place. Has a comfortable vintage deco and interesting objects, from paintings, books, jewelry etc…The lemonade and teas are too die for as well as the pastries (the matcha scone’s my favorite) + company’s great if you just want too stay in and pretend you’re at a pub in Hogsmeade’s village ;bDefinitely recommend it.

Great coffee, tea, and baked goods! Also, the best owners around! Would highly recommend trying out the oat milk latte and browse the shops at McCarthy Mercantile.

I work right down the street from Nectar, every weekend I take my lunch break there. The specials are always new and exciting to try and the classic options are equally satisfying. I love that all the syrups used are homemade! They’re never too sweet or taste manufactured. The syrups are light but are jam packed with flavor that only comes from homemade recipes. I usually get an oat milk latte with lavender syrup. You can have your coffee for here or to go. One of my favorite things at Nectar is having my coffee there. When you drink your coffee at Nectar it will be poured in vintage glassware and usually topped with pretty glitter, floral arrangement or even sometimes cookies! Tea could be served in a cool mug called a stein or an iced coffee in an ornate glass goblet. I’ve had espresso served in the tiniest baby blue demitasse which made every sip a delight! To have your coffee at Nectar is the best way to experience what Nectar is all about. Sitting in Nectar surrounded by old paintings, forgotten books, beautiful glassware and curious finds is the perfect blend of creature comforts and eclectic nostalgia.Whatever you get at Nectar be it coffee, tea or scones your experience will always be one of a kind!

I've visited Nectar multiple times and have always had a pleasant experience, between their selection of teas and their drink specials they've had, every visit has been a treat. Definitely would recommend checking out this cute little shop!

My very favorite spot in downtown Syracuse. Hidden under the staircase inside the Mercantile (Harry Potter slept under a staircase-- and everyone loves him... just sayin'), filled with beautiful vintage items and furniture and offering perfectly crafted coffee and tea drinks. The owners-- Nicole and Kayla-- are so welcoming and friendly! I felt at home during my first visit and have since joined their Knit/Yarn Club that meets every Thursday at 4pm. The space is small and cozy, not ideal for a large group but absolutely worth ordering drinks for your large group. Also, while you're there, go shop local at the shops right next door and upstairs! Also, they support local bakeries and carry a variety of pastries every day!
