Pretty decent food, great atmosphere! Clam soup had too many potatoes and not many clams. The spicy cheese curds were great! Humus was amazing. Our waitress was fantastic! Also had a great passion fruit something that was alcoholic and tasty. Drink portion was very generous.

Had a birthday party in the parlor, it was amazing. Shout out to Emily who took care of us. It was a great time and no complaints about the food or drinks. I look forward to planning another even there in the future.

Went to Phoebe's after a show at the Syracuse Stage. My wife and I always go for drinks after. The atmosphere is bright and pleasant, crisp with an old comfortable feel. My wife and I split some starters, both the Fried Calamari and Warm Tomato Caprese Dip were very good. My only complaint was that the Dip only came with about 4 or 5 small pieces of bread, which was less than adequate to finish off the dip (maybe half and that was with large amounts of dip on each piece of bread). Who wants to eat straight dip with a spoon?? not me...more bread please! Otherwise it was enjoyable and affordable.

JMO….French onion soup was charred and burnt on top not the browned and melty I’m used to. Broth was good. The chicken Caesar salad was good, the Gnocchi was tough, chewy, and dense so probably frozen. The vodka sauce was good just needed more.

My recent visit at Phoebe’s for dinner was very disappointing from the point of view of food. I have patronized this restaurant for many years and was never disappointed, until this last visit. I had the swordfish, which was on the regular dinner menu. Although the slice of fish was good in itself—it was fresh and wasn’t over cooked—, everything that came with it was quite awful. The caper sauce had more (raw) onions than capers and tasted of vinegar; it overwhelmed the fish, even after scraping off the sauce. The broccoli was so oversalted that it was barely edible. The worst part was the rice, which was mushy like porridge and came in clumps. It was probably precooked and warmed up in the microwave. Overall, one of my worst dining experiences in Syracuse, and certainly at Phoebe’s.Vegetarian options: There are some cooked options, and the salads are usually very good.Parking: I am not sure about availability of parking space in the adjacent parking lot if you don’t have an affiliation with Syracuse University, but there is metered street parking nearby. If you do have an SU permit, you can park in the lot.

We were sat in the porch area with all the windows. It was perfect. Food was good. Service was great. Try the crem brulee! The atmosphere and decor is beautiful. I left my purse there and went back and it was safe behind the bar waiting for me. Great spot for a drink, date night or hang with friends.

Always such a treat to go to Phoebe's when we visit Syracuse. We started coming years ago when our oldest was active in the SU acting program. It's the perfect spot near the Syracuse Stage. We were thrilled to know this treasure so we could return with our youngest son. We were grateful they could accommodate a big enough table for all his close college pals. The food was incredible and a special place to gather. Thank you to all who made it a perfect night.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. It's been many years since we've eaten at Phoebe's mainly because we don't go out much with our kids. We were reminded of how much we enjoy it here and it was very accommodating for our children.

We have made several visits to Phoebe's and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is nice and the service is always impeccable. The food itself is always creative and wonderful in both taste and presentation. This is certainly a wonderful restaurant for both a casual dinner as well as a special occasion.

The food and atmosphere were at the Wow! level. The value was good, but not quite Wow level for us. Most of the prices were very reasonable, but nine dollars for dessert is a little steep. Still would recommend to everyone! The servers were all great!

All of the food was just OK, which was pretty disappointing. The best dish of the night was the brussels sprouts appetizer, which was actually fantastic! Service was good, staff pleasant. Glad we checked it out, but would not do it again anytime soon.
